My first Backpacking experience... #relax trip

The Valle del Tetero es the most iconic valley of the national park system of the country. Can get very cold for an island on the Caribbean and is very beautiful. You can get there by different and several trails. It can hold many hundreds visitors at a time. The trail is very difficult because of the erosion and mud.

the trail was beautiful

This was an excellent trail going first thru a little hill and then walking over a river. After that we took a dirt road which lead us to the trailhead itself, and then found a beautiful place to camp: Máximo Gómez Campground. A very ease trail to make with kids and pets.

A very friendly trail, well constructed with a lot of pond to swim. Has 2 waterfalls were you can swim and enjoy the cold water from the Jima River.

It's a good and challenging trail, mostly on the return walk. great views, climate and nature conection. On your return you will be greeted with a pond that was like heaven to my feet

This is a beautiful trail, where you can see a primary forest and walk to the top of the mountain, where you will fin a watch tower.
