Vejle, Region of Southern Denmark, DenmarkLength: 3.9 mi • Est. 1 h 53 m
This trail follows the red signs, although the signs are not always clear. The trail passes the animal garden, an old forest where you can find two different deer species: the sika and fallow deer. Between the lakes and Bybaekvej is a beech forest. It was planted in 1710. Near Bybaek Runddel the trip passes a fishing house and island in the ocean. Along the Hunters path there are flowers that only grow in a hot and humid places. 2 burial mounds from the Bronze age near Bybaekvej can be seen as two smaller rises in the terrain. The Erteboelle People lived in Vejle Fjord for about 7000 years ago and lived on what the ocean offered, like mussels, fish, whales and some the sea birds.
