Lovely walk, beautiful lake.

Danhostel park is a nice escape in the city allowing you to feel as though you were close to the Danish coastline.

around jyllinge busy road used in the route. no sidewalk. pity while a trail runs along the water (we found it by chance for the return).

Around Nybro there is an inn with traditional Danish food and a good kitchen. Across the street is kanoo and kayak rental and also a popular icecream stand, can recommend it. In the south east part of the lake - closes to a Lyngby downtown - lies a little restaurant out to the lake that has live music every Sunday afternoon, usually rock or jazz. Lyngby lake roundtrip is perfect on a sunny Sunday.

By Danish standards very rocky terrain. Beautiful view. Unfortunately few pitstops with the possibility to retank waterbottles.

Lovely quiet walk with nice picnicspots along the route

Rather dull, mainly tarmac walking alongside railway.

Nice route around the lake, if you want to take a longer hike there is an abondoned airport right beside it where you can take a stroll. A few times a year someone arrange friendly underground marathon/halfmaratons (called cannonballs) both around the lake or on the old runway, it's worth checking for those if you plan to visit.

Easy hiking trail through a forest crossing a small small twin lake with beautiful views. The trail shifts between small and larger paths. There is no signs or direct markings to follow, so we had to check the map a few times to make the correct turn.
