The Furesø Loop is a trail which takes you all around lake Furesø. The trail offers spectacular views over the entire lake and you'll come across varied landscapes, from forests to towns and beaches on the coast of the lake. Typically this trail is done by cyclists, but for who wants to walk it there's loads of campgrounds and other overnight options along the trail. Kayaks are for rent nearby the trail and the route comes past a small fire pit as reststop.Show more

It's allowed to fish in a few of the lakes, but not all. To get more information about wheelchair accessibility, fishing and all other possibilities of Rude Skov forest take a look at the Danish nature reserve website: https://naturstyrelsen.dk/naturoplevelser/naturguider/rude-skov/Show more

The Fjord Path (Fjordstien in Danish), also known as Regional Cycle Route 40 is a nature trail along Roskilde Fjord and Isefjorden. It is a 275 km cycle and footpath route, great for cyclists and hikers. Fjord proximity and road safety are the key words for Fjordstien. It brings you close to the coast, where you can see the water, enjoy the scent and feel the breeze from the Fjords. The path follows existing old road paths, fields and forest roads, but several places are newly constructed.Show more
