Length: 17.2 mi • Est. 7 h 20 m
Kalvebod Fælled was under water until 1943. In that year dams were build as an employment project, bringing the land above water and giving nature and birdlife the space to grow. It's one of the most important wetlands in the area, but it's the expansive views that make this place the most popular. During your walk you pass stones dragged to this place during the Ice Age, bomb holes dating from World War II, forests, a wide range of birds, and a unique playground. Kalvebod Fælled is open 24/7 and you are allowed to camp overnight.Show more

Length: 28.4 mi • Est. Multi-day
This trail started with one person walking it back in 2017. One became two, and now thousands of people come together to complete this trail. On her 42nd birthday in 2017, Jakob Amsgaard's sister decided to walk from Copenhagen to Helsingør (also called Elsinor). Since Jakob wasn't able to accompany his sister on that day, he decided to walk the trail later with his friend Peter. They enjoyed it so much they decided to repeat the hike, and Jakob created a Facebook event for the 1st of June 2019. Almost 60,000 people say they are interested in the event, and eventually 5,000 people show up to walk the trail. You can stay up to date for the next event through the official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gaatur Show more

Length: 17.1 mi
Maybe a very easy MTB ride, but with the opportunity to practice steep ascents and descents along the way at Danhostel Amager and the hills at Ugandavej. Amager offers narrow tracks through soft soil, nettles, thorns and reeds. Kalvebod Fælled is far more open, but in return you can ride in between sheep, deer and cows.Show more
