Snowshoe hike 1/27. Took 2.5 hours to make the full loop with a few breaks. The trail is somewhat easy to follow in the beginning, but after a while, there were lots of offshoots from skiers that made it confusing to know if you were still on trail. We def got off the main trail once and we were in some very deep snow, without snowshoes it would have been very difficult. On the main path, the snow was fairly packed down. It seemed to be that everyone was doing an out and back on the north side of the loop and once at taggart lake, turned around to go back the way they came. We only saw 2 other groups on the south/west side of the loop. Aside from all the trail confusion, hike was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for better views.

Does anyone know if you need a permit to hike this and camp? If you know my email is nottkaleb1106@yahoo.com

Hiked in July and was absolutely beautiful with flowers, some streams/river at points and hit both lakes. Very quiet and even saw a bear!

Beautiful and difficult trail (snow shoes necessary) The trail is in deep snow the whole way and if you aren’t confident in sketchy snow hikes you won’t make it past the waterfall. P.s. confidence in snowy driving is also necessary just to get to the trail head.

Great place to snowshoe and get lost in the magic and solitude of the Park during winter! Went 11/30 and got a late start, about 2:15pm, so only did a small portion of the trail, out and back.

Started snowing on us, but trail was passable with the few inches of snow that was there. Views of the valley, and doesn't get too high up into the mountains. Relatively flat (for being in the foothills)

A super easy scenic trail. Started late but no issues. Spotted a coyote and if course, bison.

Great day out. It was a bit muddy at the start and became snowy. But ‘tis the season..

Hello! I am a 24 year old relatively experienced hiker. However I've never done anything this long or intense before. So I wanted to make a post to ask if any folks would like to join me at some point in summer 2020 for a group trip to the summit. My email is scottcampbell2511@yahoo.com, feel free to email me if you're interested!

Wish I'd brought my hiking poles for some icy spots but still very doable Nov. 5. Taggart lake partially frozen; Bradley was not at all frozen and gorgeous. The road was closed so I couldn't do Jenny lake but I still felt like I got a fantastic view of the Tetons.

Left the Taggard Lake trailhead with the intent to hit Taggard Lake and Bradley Lake. Taggard Lake was awesome! Ran into a Moose laying on the trail on our way to Bradley so we turned around and never made it up there but the scenery is amazing.

Hiked Oct 14th- great, easy trail with about 0.5 mi total of mild elevation when coming back to the parking lot after the lake! Spotted a bull moose on the way to the lake- the highlight of the trip! Taggart lake deserves at least 10 minutes of quiet observation, it’s beautiful. Total time ~2 hours with several stops.

nice and easy loop trail through Teton NP

It will knock your socks RIGHT OFF. Then how will you cope? Sometimes this place looks like a Peter Jackson movie set. Minus the hobbits... unless your now sockless feet are hairy.

The feeling when taking a swim in the lake while watching the snowy mountain tops is breathtaking.

Hiked this in October. Gorgeous views and we were the only people in the drainage. While we didn't find a trail due to snow, the orienteering was incredible easy and the Brookies were biting flies. We exited via the hypotenuse.
