Visited this trail with my boyfriend and Rottweiler. We loved it! The parking lot was full when we got there, we only ran into 3 people over the course of our 3 hour hike. Unbelievable how much space there is! We hiked the green loop and really enjoyed it. Stunning after a fresh snowfall.

Not a trail. Located on a private drive.

Absolutely beautiful after a snow fall! Snowshoe trail was intermediate. Very well marked. Light to no traffic. We went on a Monday beginning of January!! Highly recommend by the Eicholtz Family.

It was a peaceful walk through a snow covered scenic view. The highlights were the bridge crossing over the Kewaunee River and two very good pups that we were able to pet along the walk.

Great dog friendly trail for the area. Mud was very minimal for having a few inches of snow melt in the last 24 hours. There were a few slick spots of ice, but not too bad. Great sunset view.

My initial reaction was to give this trail 3 stars, but I'm reserving my judgment until I hike it under summer conditions, which AllTrails say this loop is best for. The signage for the trailhead is not that great. I walked almost a whole mile in loops attempting to start the trail because the existing signs were a little misleading. Learn from my mistakes- if you start near the urban fishing pond by the dining pavillion, it'll start you on the blue green loop. Additionally, parking is $11 per car per day. I wasn't prepared for that, but somehow had exactly $11 with me! It seems like a steep fee for a couple hours of hiking when there are so many other places in this area that are free. There were a couple places in the trail where I don't know if I could have done it without my trekking poles. Some spots were very muddy and had frozen over with thin ice. There was a ten foot gap that I crossed using a downed log and my poles for balance. I probably would have been a little more than ankle deep in water if the log hadn't been there. It was only 23 degrees when I did this hike, so I'm imagining that large sections of this trail are pretty gross during a large chunk of the year when we have rainfall. Also, I didn't think it was hunting season, but I heard a bit of gun fire across the lake. I would wear some bright colors while hiking here just to be safe. All that being said, it was an absolutely beautiful hike. I had a great time. If you're a birdwatcher, you'll be appreciative. I heard some songbirds that I normally don't hear out and about in this area.

Not a surprise given the time of year/weather, but it was incredibly muddy and icy. I slid down the back of Brady's bluff (clockwise) on my rear end and couldn't have stood if I tried. Wear shoes with spikes if you have them.

Very nice walk with varying elevation and some cool views. This app has you start the hike at the best viewpoint and it ends at a parking lot. You could opt to do it in reverse order, but ending the out and back at the viewpoint was also great. It also has a few loops with in the out and back for variation. It was very muddy today, but still fun and dog friendly!
