Beautiful hike. Two days after Christmas and now snow. Unbelievable. 31 to 40 degrees. Trails are dry and easy to hike. Good to see several families enjoying this weather outside. Well kept trail.

I'd give 3.5/5 for current conditions. The north parking lot is closed, so parked at the south entrance and hiked along the river trail to the glacial potholes loop. The river trail was the most enjoyable part of the hike, very peaceful, with views of the river most of the way. If you are going to see the Potholes I'd recommend waiting until spring or summer, it's all buried under snow right now, so not much to see there.

Great trail. Not super challenging, but does get the HR up. Stunning views of Devil's Lake and rocky outcroppings.

Heavily trafficked by those staying at the site. Great views along the water. The overlook tower was closed due to rotten wood which wood. Pretty average trail, nice if you are staying at Potawatomi State Park.

Excellent trail for a day hike. Trail is well marked and well travelled. Steps are a big benefit for an old fart like me. Great views from the top. Do be careful though, while we were there a paramedic team had to respond to someone, not sure if it was a hiker of a climber that went down the face. Great face for climbing if you’re into that.

Great trail of all sorts of different boulders and rock formations. Lots of great people to meet along the way.

Nice easy path with river views at the end. Good during fall foliage.

Moderate trail as advertised. I only had difficulty because I have no endurance, but take frequent breaks and you’ll be fine. Saw little kids on the trail and a mom carrying a tot. Teenage boys and husband had no issues.

Great loop hike with lots of benches, beautiful lookout and picnic spots. Paved trail throughout. Pretty steep up to ridge. I would definitely start with the uphill section first given the better view along the water (view of a hill rather than a boat house on the lower section) but you really can’t go wrong. As of Oct 6 mostly green leaves; very little color.

The first part before you cross the first road had some wet muddy parts (swamping) otherwise a great hike. My dog got full of burrs. I like just after you cross the road there is a little creak along the trail. Did not do the whole trail. Just to the pet swimming area and back

This trail is a rock climb up and then back down. Dogs can go on this trail but they should be able to jump up rocks and be able to walk slow back down. There were a few spots where my Aussie and I were not sure where the trail was. This trail is hard. Hiking boots suggested. Bring water. Not for small or older dogs.

Was looking for start of Ice Age Trail. It was late and this trail was not saved on AllTrails. This appears to be a moderate to hard hike. I will come back and record a chunk of the trail. This is not the Potawatomi Trail.

This trail should be rated as more difficult than "moderate". You are very literally climbing a cliff wall. Many rest breaks were needed for my family to make it to the top, but the hard work is so very much worth it. There are numerous amazing views on the way up or down that have no equal in WI. This trail is my all time favorite hiking trail to date, by a large margin. Don't miss this one and I recommend going up, not down.

Just a bit wet and rocky but other than that it was awesome.

We started from the east and the Easy bluff is definitely much more challenging to us compared to the West bluff due to the rocky and very steep decent. It was not crowded today as it is after the holidays are over. Definitely recommend it.
