We drove here from wheeling. The first gps map took us an HOUR out of the way and wrong way, never will use google maps again! Then we used a different app and got there shortly. The trail to get to table rock was flooded with rushing water and was washed out- so unfortunately we couldn’t cross. We did decide to walk to lindy point overlook instead and it was pretty awesome! We plan to visit again with a better vehicle as it looks like a fun place to do a little off roading. I did like this place more then Coopers rock.

Found this trail by accident while looking for Lake Quigley, which by the way, doesn't exist. This trail it's well marked. very decent incline, which makes for a awesome workout. The split rock overlook is well worth the hike. views are stunning. Hike back is hard on the knees, wearing a grave on both knees helps.

Great trail. Not the most scenic but quite enjoyable on a rare 70 degree day in January. Some trees down but climbing over and through them brought the kid out of me. Saw a few gorgeous deer. The overlook was a nice relaxing place to rest a few. I see many complaints about it but in mid Winter it had a great view.

The trails were amazing and easy to follow. I ended up hiking a total of 12 miles and it was perfect weather for it. One of the trails was blocked off because of a train derailment which lead to damage to the foot bridge. All in all it was a really diverse area to hike through with enough trails in the immediate area to spend a week or more hiking through. Bring lots of water and food with you; it's not the easiest hike (about 7 miles round trip) with long stretches of incline terrain. The park rangers were super knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be going back soon!

Steep inclines for most of the trail in the beginning at the end of the trail it was all roadway for the last .7 miles. Most trail signage posted trails as difficult this app post as easy!

Hiked this on New Year’s Day. Trail in good condition. The closing of the Blue Trail took us by surprise- now must go left on Orange Trail towards Split Rock and no longer a loop.

Nice trail until the end when you have to walk on the road. Had to take the long way around due to not knowing where to go at the trailhead by the water treatment area but still an excellent trail. Brought my 6 year old daughter and wife.

Awesome park just 7 miles from Charleston.

The trail itself is very easy. Can be muddy in spots. If you go in the warmer months watch for snakes because it can be heavy with them. About a mile in from the Cunard side entrance you can veer off-trail and see an old gravesite from the early 1900’s (it took a few attempts to finally find it), and the coke ovens are a sight to see. This is a trail with lots of explorative points for sure!

This trail was wonderful. It offered much variety in its scenery and terrain. I would rate it as intermediate. However, my GPS on my phone tracked this as 8.65 miles from start to finish. A must see and worth the time!

Hiked on a wierdly warm December 28th, muddy in spots but over all good ground. We are not in shape yet, and this trail was kicking our butts, but we did it and the victory was great. We hiked the loop starting left and it was steep in a few places. next time we will start left. Dog had a great time too.

thank goodness for bike trail markings, otherwise we might not know where we were going. not for the inexperienced, due to the lack of markings for hikers and needs a little maintenance. but we enjoyed ourselves
