Beautiful trail coated in fresh blanket of snow! All uphill. Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy view at top due to snow but wouldn’t change a thing. The snow was gorgeous!

Excellent trail. Lots of choices. Beautiful scenery.

This trail was easy with a few slick rocky areas on the way to the tower! Fantastic for kids new to trail hiking! My 3 year old son loved it! Great hike. Trail marked well...several split-off trails along the way! Great views to and at the Hubbard Tower!

The overall setting of this trail is quite beautiful if you enjoy forest settings. Other than that I found it difficult to maintain a sense of direction. The trails were marked in a way that was quite confusing. There were multiple intersections that lacked a clear sense of which way to turn. I started the hike at 1:30 in the afternoon and after several wrong turns I barely made it out before dark. I would recommend this hike to most people, but bring a compass and good orienteering skills

Lovely, easy trail with lake views and pretty woods, trail is gently sloping and even, well maintained.

If you are looking for a trail close to downtown Burlington for a quick morning hike, this is a great one. beautiful wooded forest with lots of boulders and moss. Also offers great views of lake Champlain.

It was great for me and my dog. Very few people on the trail.

So, so nice. Wonderful outlooks over Lake Champlain, and a great combination of forested paths and wide flat paths.

A stroll I. The woods through the woods in the shade on a HUMID day. Shortened the loop.

There is a well groomed trail but hard to find unless you know where to look. If you go into the parking lot for the rec. park off of 7A (not the parking lot near the boating access bridge on 313), and park on the right next to the tennis courts you'll see the trail. It is very easy and not very long but goes along the river for a bit, around a small playground, crosses a little golf course, dog park and soccer fields. A pretty leisurely stroll but a pretty place!

Beautiful quiet hike, a little crowded but not bad. Nice views. Only drawback is the parking. You have to park in town and then walk to the trail on a street with no sidewalks.

I went up on Monroe and came down the Long Trail to Dean to Monroe again. i started the trail at 6:00 am and was alone at the summit for 1.5 hours. some of it was pretty tough but well worth it!

Well-marked, well-maintained trails. Three stars only because it really was hiking on mountain bike trails. Terrain understandably moderate, not for elevation (even with low elevation, it was very slow and easy), but you definitely have to watch your footing with lots of rocks and roots. Trails were good, but much easier than anticipated for a "moderate" marking. Great for running, and ability to do lots of adjoining loops.

Ok, but I got a bit lost.

A beginner trail, nice gentle walking, wide paths, with beautiful rock formations and glimpses of Lake Champlain along the way. Convenient for city dwellers and pretty darn nice for a city getaway. Mostly tree covered, bugs were not bad. Well signed.

I took a different path, starting with Homestead , going up the mountain. Did not start my recording until part way up (sorry). Connected to Passing the Horizon. Then briefly on Eagles Trail ( double track road, rocky) and Russels Ramble back to parking lot. 5 miles. This was a much more varied, winding trail and i liked it more than Maiden or International. Once up top you have to make decisions, i wished i could have stayed on but it was leading away from parking and i needed to circle back.

Dog friendly, easy walk. No views but a pleasant forest and some wild life. Trails are poorly marked but reasonably obvious.
