Awesome hike! The arches and rock houses were totally amazing. The trail was well maintained and had cool stuff around every corner. He had lunch at the Charit Creek Lodge. The staff there were very friendly and very helpful. Hope to go back and spend the night.

Absolutely beautiful hike. My group does this trail several times a year and it never disappoints. The views from the ridge are beautiful and in the summer, you can swim in the area below the falls! I recommend bringing chacos or water resistant shoes if you decide to go swimming as the rocks can be painful to walk on barefoot.

Great views from the top of the tower on a clear day! The tower, like many other reviews, is quite old and some boards have quite a bit of space between them so be cautious in your step.

Great short hike near town!

If you follow the AllTrails map I do not recommend taking the trail to the left. It’s an overlook to nothing even in the winter with all the leaves down. You can hear the falls but the only payoff is the beautiful moss growing everywhere. However, stick to the right and you will take some rocks and sketchy stairs (3 sets) down to the bottom. Once at the bottom stay left and you’ll find an absolutely stunning waterfall. After all this rain Stinging Fork Falls was roaring and the water was so blue pictures don’t even do it justice. Very colorful hike with all the green moss and blue water. Highly recommend going after a lot of rain.

very very muddy and boring

Pretty easy trail.

Unfortunately we were only able to make it 1.5miles in due to the icy conditions today. The people that could go farther all had spikes and poles. The portion of the trail we could hike was beautiful, and I look forward to trying again in a few weeks.

Great trail for a slow hike, clearly marked. Started on the Natural Bridge and Hazard Cave Trail, and linked into the Lake View Trail which ends at the suspension walking bridge in the picnic area.

Was a very scenic trail apart from the golf course and the highway on the way back to the trailhead. Only hiked to piney pointe and green view.

Nice trail but no dogs allowed. It’s clearly marked, but the privileged few will still ignore it.

Nice, easy trail with a gut-wrenching but beautiful overlook of the falls at the end. Lots of trail splits, but no issues navigating with the app. Easy to see residences along the way, but still very much worth the effort.

Such a a Beautiful waterfall after a lot of rain. The rock scramble is short and well worth it. Mostly an easy hike with moderately difficult rock scrambles and a couple muddy areas, but the pay off is definitely worth it. Especially after it’s been raining for a while. We hiked today, 1/25/20 and The waterfall was roaring. It was beautifully magical. Always fun to watch the rock climbers on the Denny East trail too. Highly recommend this waterfall! And it’s only a couple miles away from Foster Falls so you can hit that one afterwards. Happy Hiking!

Great trail. Lots of fun. I’ve done this hike numerous times. It takes about 4 hours to do the hike if you take your time with it. Usually you will see several people on the trails. I would consider this hike moderate. You do have to climb over some rocks at times and it takes awhile to do the whole trail.

I wouldn’t consider this a hike. It’s more of a leisurely path where any age can walk and enjoy. There are places to fish, picnic, run, walk, and dogs are welcome. It can be crowded at times.

Nice easy trail. Falls were ok but small, even after a heavy rain. Good for families and kids.

love the trail system that leads to Sunset Rock. it gets cold and windy on Sunset rock. If you're going to try to look cute for your photo shoot, bring comfortable shoes to walk. I saw women in heels stumbling over the rocks to get to Sunset Rock. The trails are well maintained, but not too manicured. signage is decent, usually at intersecting trails.
