Trail is fine if you do the loop. Other trails are not clearly marked. We took a trail that wasn’t marked other than the start. We had to turn around after half a mile because there was no clear trail. We saw lots of beautiful Horses but also plenty of horse poop. The lake ending was lovely.

It was a nice trail but you could tell we had gotten rain lately because there were a number of puddles but you could easily go around most of them

Good trail. Only saw two others. It is muddy. I took a few ticks off my dog after so check yourself and your dogs!

Awesome trail! Well kept.

Nice trail, marked ok but there are some places where its not as much. Trail is with some nice views once you are closer to the ridge line. Ruins of the lodge are very cool and well worth the hike. Trail parallels the lead off to the Spring, which is also worth seeing. Park map of trail is pretty but bring some extra water and food if you try to follow it.

Made my own route to get down to the lake/pond/dock. Found my new Zen area!

Easy hike around the lake to see the waterfall

This was a decent walk/hike through the woods one day after a big rain. Trail was SUPER muddy, not helped any by horses who used it in the mud earlier in the day. Had to go off trail many times to stay clear off the mud. Trail also not well marked in some places so if you go when the ground is leaf covered make sure you have your map open. Pretty enough but I think I’ll stick with state parks for awhile.

Great long trail - well kept. Requires a pass to ride and it takes several weeks to get the pass.

Took horses on the trail. We got off our original trail twice both times by half a mile so all in all took us 6ish hours to complete. Trails were muddy horses slid a bit in quite a few parts and the last time it had rained was 4 days prior with decent weather before hand. Trail was fun and we didn’t see a soul. $3 fee for day parking.

Nice except for clear cut section. Kind of sad that they leave it looking so awful

Easy trail as described. Jumped onto the wrong trail initially, adding an extra loop. Somewhat greasy in spots from the rain and horses but very passable. No steep climbs or gorgeous views, but good for a quick and easy hike. Lot was fairly full when we arrived, but only saw two horses/riders during our visit.

The trail is well marked pretty easy to follow until you get to the bridge that is out. After that the trail pretty much falls apart but if you follow the map on your phone you should have no problem finding your way.

Great hike in a beautiful area! You do have to pay to get into the park though (worth it).

Nice trail at the Anne Springs Close Greenway around the lake and through wooded sections. Lots of Beaver activity and a variety of water birds are around. The spillway is a lovely small 'waterfall' so make sure and check that out versus just walking past.

I hiked five miles. It was a nice walk in the woods. A mile and a half east of the parking the trail became too wet and muddy. It hadn't rained in a week. The trail West of the parking area was nice and dry. Since it has been cool, I did not experience any bugs but I did find two ticks on my dog when when we got home. I wasn't surprised since we saw deer tracks and there is a lot of brush on the East side.

It would be a great place to hike if the trails were better marked as in Issaqueena. Twice I had to pick up my little dog because of big dogs not on a lease trying to attack my little dog! We encountered 6 big dogs and none were on a lease.

GREAT TRAIL! The deforestation was beautiful and breathtaking, along with the litter from the workers! The man on the excavator and the guys cutting the trees down were pretty nice as well! - Colin

Trail follows and old FS road, the trail was in good shape with no blow downs or trail damage. Looks to be used by some mountain biking and horse back riders. Very nice hike. Did an out and back from the Whetstone side of the trail.

The trail is well marked with “blue” blazes for the Bratton Trail. As of this review, the cost is $8 per person per day for access to the whole property including the trails. Search on YouTube for “Uncl3Mik3Mik3 Trail-Away” for video.

Very enjoyable easy walk with several lake stop opportunities. Will do this again in early winter when the leaves are off the trees and the lake views are more expansive.
