A beautiful and fun hike. we really enjoyed it and recommend the hike. We had to go through several seasonal streams. The trail is pretty rocky and I was glad I wore boots. I wished I would have brought my hiking pole.

INCREDIBLE! We lucked out and came on a Sunny Warm Saturday in January! The parking lot was reasonably full, but there were a few open spots. There was a lot of snow and branches on the forest road going up, but our AWD CRV didn’t mind a bit. It didn’t feel crowded but we encountered many fellow hikers. I could imagine this place is crazy in the summer. The trail is squishy and muddy in many places, so bring proper hiking boots. We came upon the bridge, which affords views of the torrential waterfall, then crossed and came to a landing where you can view the suspension bridge and the waterfall. Finally, we wandered down a little footpath down to the base of the waterfall area where there’s plenty of beauty to absorb. 1/19/2020

easy, lots of people but it's a holiday. saw the sheriff.

last week Very large tree came down very close to us. Make sure you look up and pay attention when its snowy and windy. But beautiful day.

I always come up when it Is snowing. So I never had the privilege to actually walk the trail. During the snow season it’s fun. You can rent tubes and go tubing .For the expectation during fishing season I did some fishing once .They also serve homemade food in their restaurant . Great place been coming here for years.

I've stayed away from Trillium Lake for years due to the crowds. Today I went up early and it didn't matter as the parking lot was already half full. When we left, cars were parked all the way out in Hwy 26. It was pretty but just way too many people. This is the Disneyland of trails.

why is this called a "trail"? it's a road.

Size 12 Keen hiking boots left in parking lot of trail. If found please contact esnodgrass@aliveintegrative.com

Hiked this one over 3 days with friends in early October. We arranged a shuttle service that picked up our car at Grave Creek and dropped it at Foster Bar. We had the trail pretty much to ourselves. The trail started with a bit of up and down in the first 10 miles, but in all was relatively mild. Camp sites can be sparse if not a marked camping area since the entire trail is pretty much steep hillside. The camps we chose were somewhat developed with bear fences and hoists. Definitely more bear activity the further west we went. Lots of poison oak but using awareness and caution can be avoided. There are some areas of the trail that track along steep, nearly vertical banks but none of it particularly unnerving since the trail is pretty well developed.

A rainy and windy hike today and it was excellent! I did the 3-mile out and back in one hour. The suspension bridge is very cool, and the waterfall was flowing furiously.

The camp ground is closed and the roads to the camp are not maintained so it was quiet the snowy adventure. We walked in from the campground gate. Part of the trail is washed out so side hilling in the steep, snowy forest was a challenge. I haven't visited this place in 29 years. Still as beautiful as I remember! I'll be back lost lake!
