Very, very simple trail. Would be great to introduce kids to basic wildlife. Not much to look at otherwise.

I always enjoy the views going up, down, around and from the side/top of Mount Scott! You can hike it (takes about an hour and a half for full completion) or drive it and it's lovely either way! One of those places I never get tired of going to.

Parts of this were a little tricky to do with kids (they just had trouble getting over some of the rocky areas). But I think for the most part, it's a fairly easy and worthwhile hike for people who just want to see some interesting scenery.

I always love hiking at Turkey, but today (1-27) it was super muddy, almost flooded in some places. Totally passable in hiking boots (luckily I was wearing mine), but maybe not so much if you were in tennis shoes. I did the yellow trail only, so I’m not sure about Pink or Blue conditions today.

Nice winter hike close to the city. dirt trail is muddy after rain. however, paved multi-use trail runs close to buy not directly by trail for all seasons/all weather use. there was a little more foot traffic than I like, but would do this trail again. Dog friendly on leash, no fee.

This trail is shared by hikers and horses, so it can be sloppy and muddy in parts after a rain. It is well marked. There were a handful of parts with deep wide standing water that required some bushwhacking to get around. Not hard, just an obstacle to go around. Most creeks are easy to cross by stepping over them or by balancing on a single rock or down branches. There is one wide creek crossing (7-10 ft wide) on the southern most end of trail that is deep, about half-shin deep. In the summer, this trail might get thick with undergrowth and tall grasses, and probably lots of ticks. On this warm, beautiful January day, I had a blast on this trail. Some nice views of the lake. Good mix of mostly wooded areas with some open areas.

Great trail for a family. Kids can bike, scooter, or rollerblade on the paved path. There are also several unpaved trails that bring some variety (and softer ground) to wander a bit. You can see views of the lake and wildlife along the path and unpaved trails.

Very easy trail! Would be a good set of trails for all beginners and families, even took a senior dog that can’t do many trails these days. Very flooded in places right now, so need to get creative in places to go around mud and water.

Hiked the new trail called "Trail Less Traveled" at the Ancient Forest in or near Sand Springs, Oklahoma, today. This is a very good addition to their current trails. It's also a few miles longer with nice elevation changes. An excellent workout for a chilly yet sunny Saturday in January. I highly recommend this for anyone around North East Oklahoma.

Really well maintained and extremely well marked trail system. The “Less Traveled Trail” has some flooding we had to divert around, but nothing to difficult. Nice easy elevation changes. Really a gem for OKlahoma!

One of the prettiest MAP3 trails completed in OKC. Not busy, clean, varied from gentle/moderate hills to some flats. Water is only available around the marina and Cross Timbers campsite on western leg. Nice side trail along a dirt road on west side that follows the edge of lake (adds 4 mi).

If you go on a nice day, be prepared to find no available parking near the trail head. The trail is fairly obvious for most of the hike, but there are a few places where we genuinely didn't know if we were on the trail or not. There are very few spots with much shade, so be prepared to be in the sunlight for most of the trek. There are some makeshift trails on top of the mountain too if you feel like making the hike just a bit longer for the sake of seeing the views in every direction. I would definitely hike this one again.

This complex is amazing!! The easy walking path is right along side the moderate hiking/bike trail.. there are creeks running through and small ponds scattered throughout. I’ve been there hundreds of times and maybe once did not see deer. (Usually always in morning) My wife and I hike the moderate trails and or easy path 3 times a week. It’s a great change of pace between the two different paths and it’s a great place to get in some exercise with great scenery .. you’ll love it
