I ended up hiking 21 miles on this trail due to not being able to cross the river numerous of times. The water falls are breathtaking. Part of the trail is closed and a detour is posted. I’d do this trail again, but only as an in and out to the falls.

fun paved trail

fun and cold day

Wouldn't recommend if you're going with your dog. Lots of trash and broken glass.

Easy trail for biking, hiking, running. Kids friendly.

Nice walk through nature in Euclid. Small reprieve from urban environment.

For a year end ride in late December, the trail was well maintained and clear of everything but the frequent road apples. This trail is unique in that it has an extra lane to allow the local Amish community an alternative to State Route 83. On a recumbent trike, it’s nearly impossible to avoid the horse manure but it’s nothing more than a slight nuisance compared to the rewards the trail has to offer. On this trip, my daughter and I rode from Millersburg to Fredericksburg and back. It was a leisurely ride with plenty to see including long stretches through a swamp and along a creek. We passed several Amish buggies and stoped to talk with some riders on horseback.

Highly recommend . Very relaxing beautiful scenery. My favorite place to go. You can usually park at the Boat House for free if it is early in the day.

It's a nice leisurely stroll along the river. Great for sunsets and a nice loop for exercise.

It was a nice paved trail but not great a lot of housing. If your not into scenery it’s a good walking path

Great walk on an incredibly warm and unseasonal Christmas Day. The path is paved the whole way around the lake. It has some ups and downs, but we saw someone pushing a wheelchair, so it isn’t that bad. Definitely a pleasant way to spend a little time on a beautiful afternoon.

I enjoyed this bike ride a lot. However it says biking trail, it had three places with stairs no other way around, forewarning. Stairs didn’t stop me though. Moderate amount of people but it was the first semi warm week this winter. Have a great time!

Sandhills to Williams

Great running, some traffic noise but the bridges are gorgeous and the trail is paved and smooth

Beautiful, we'll maintained and flat.

I love running this trail when I'm in town on business. Sheltered from the wind, 90% flat with a couple of inclines to get the heart pumping.

For a park by the beltway, are a few interesting things to see along the way around the lake. Even a bit of elevation change at one point. Not a bad place to run a few laps.

If there’s been a lot of rain and regular trails are too muddy for hiking, or when the city park trails are closed for the winter, this is a good place to still get in some walking outdoors.

I’m constantly on this trail because I love running it. I always go out with my dog cause it’s very scenic, and quiet. Everyone you see on the trail is super friendly and also the trail is well maintained. Overall great trail!

Used to be great place to walk my little dog. Since the lake was drained 2 years ago, coyotes have built a den across from Beaumont and they now stalk my dog. I ran into one on the playground and it barked and howled at us.

My favorite run, meadow trail with tall grass, wood platform over the floodplain, prairies, and wide open ravines. Has a little bit of everything. Easy hike, most trails are wheelchair accessible

Did not enjoy this much. Mostly just brush along the trail and not many views of the river until a mile or so in. Trail was in good shape though.

Hiked the section from Manchester Road to Fairview Road in Barberton. Probably the best section in this area but still a lot of buildings and houses as scenery. Did see some deer, hawks, muskrats and things. Liked it better than the Wilbeth Road and other Akron sections, but it is not as nice as the Cuyahoga County sections.

Always a good place to walk , run, or bike! I’ve done both dozens a times! Usually walk 10 miles at a time and bike it round trip! Great views all year round.

Relatively flat paved double wide. There are a few grade level road crossings which can get interesting if drivers aren’t paying attention. There are some single tracks off to the sides to explore.

Part of the trail is a rural road
