The trail is easy. Should not be rated as difficult. Traditional rail trail with amazing views

nice easy trail for day hikers. you're never too far from a Dunkin donuts.

Beautiful and relaxing walk through wooded areas, to a fresh water pond, and on to the beach with bluffs

Loved it , very busy with hikers and bikers, beautiful by the water

Off season at the State Park, no fee. Best to start this one from Field 1 within the park and walk north. Well taken care of.

I love this rail trail, walk 7-8 miles at least 5x a week. It is NOT a hard, nor difficult trail, whoever put it in that category did a major mistake . It is super EASY. It’s flat and well maintained and used by everyone, from families with young kids to elderly. Obviously everyone chooses their individual distance - but as a trail it couldn’t be easier nor more accessible! It’s great

Wonderful views and great smooth trail! Wonderful walk on an unseasonably warm January day. Get there as early as you can. The parking situation gets tight at the woodstock dyke trail head on 28.

Set out at 7:30am, didn’t see a soul the four hours I was out. Weather was anything from sunny and warm to windy and chilly. Wolf Creek Glen was especially cool too, as it was eerily cooler and dank from the rest of the hike. Highly recommended.

An outer loop on the Reservation, very nice, many connecting paths and alternatives!!

A good trail, but there is no parking where its beginning. In addition, you must follow a regular road instead of a trail. But the views are nice

It's a very easy, well-established trail. My only complaint is that part of the trail runs RIGHT along the Lake Ontario State Parkway so there's lots of road noise.

Extra muddy as of today. Bring waterproof shoes or suffer soggy feet. Beautiful, well marked trail otherwise.

I would recomend this trail for being dog friendly and well maintained. I hiked with my greyhound on the last day of December. The trails were muddy, but I've seen far worse in Webster. We had 1 incident with another dog who was off leash, but other than that, a great walk in the woods. I can't wait to hit this trail again in the spring/summer.

Great day for a walk with Rosie

I recommend starting south bound from Rockland lake state park rather than completing the entire trail from start to finish. This is a great course to enjoy the beauty of the Hudson River.

2hr round-trip, save for a 15min break at top. very nice! spikes are crucial, imo. I've worked much harder for much less of a view, so I'm happy! stay safe and enjoy.

Love running on this trail in the morning during warmer months with my dog!
