7 degrees at the car; pleasant and peaceful for 2/3 of the ascent - ice, snow, rocky but very fun. High winds today and frozen-finger conditions above the forest. Needed to have double gloves, microspikes and layer up before you get out of the trees.

Hiked in Mid January 60 degree weather!!! Highly unusual! Training for AT and got our monies worth ... slippery, icy, very wet, mud, a lot of water crossing, elevation. Overall, a lot. Surprised to see other hikers!! Will return for sure!! Beautiful Boulder Trail, fabulous water views. Dogs had fun too!!

Great views today. But wet, icy, windy. Need micro spikes.

Hiked White Dot on Jan 6. Trail is largely ice covered by thin layer of snow, especially at higher elevations. Very icy at summit. Micro-spikes definitely needed.

Hiked up White Dot and down White Cross. Weather was mid 20s and windy. Icy descent. Wore microspikes and many layers. Double layer gloves at summit. Light snow and great views.

Nice quiet trail into the Sandwich Range Wilderness. The quarter mile up to the top of the ledge is intense and was icy when we went, but the views of Passaconaway and Carrigan to the north made it worth it.

Great conditions the day before the storm -- perfect weather, very little wind. Icy in spots, only used microspikes and was fine -- went around one small section about 2.4 miles up
