Easy trail that any suv or crossover could do with awd or 4wd could do. Nice views in the canyons and tons of colors to see in the mountains.

A good, short drive behind the campgrounds. Any hike or walk into the rock formations is much worth the effort of all the treasures you’ll find!

Firstly, the main trail that runs through Dorostkar Park is not a 1.5 mile loop trail, nor is it a 1.3 mile loop trail as the county describes it. It is a portion of the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway. The trail is paved with asphalt and is approximately 10 feet wide. If you start running from the Dorostkar Park parking lot, and go to the right, you will soon come to a fork. If you take the left fork you'll cross the bridge shown in some images and eventually reach a turn-around with a picnic table in the middle of it. If you take the right fork you'll head back up towards Mayberry Road and out of the park. If you head left from the Dorostkar parking lot you'll soon end up out of the park and if you keep following the natural direction of the path you'll end up in a residential area. Keep going through that and you'll end up on trail again and will go through Mayberry Park. The trail is fairly flat and almost entirely paved. It makes for a good jog if you don't mind running on asphalt. I plan to explore the area a little more. I've been back a couple of times now and have found a dirt path that is probably the loop trail. It is poorly maintained at the moment, is broken up by the paved trail, and would take 2 or 3 tries to run the 1.3 mile length of it because there are small offshoots to the trail that ultimately lead one on a shorter loop. The dirt loop trail is unmarked at the head and if you're facing the river the trail head is off to the right of the parking lot and fairly close to the road behind. This dirt trail is narrow in places and is blocked in one place that could be easily cleared.

This is a beautiful short drive just off the main road through the park. Half of the loop road is paved with asphalt while the other half is rocky and sandy. We completed this loop twice via vehicle and spotted Bighorn sheep both times. You’ll also see a couple of the attractions such as an arch and petroglyphs. There are also two nice campground areas situated along this loop.

I have traveled and explored this road a few times. gorgeous scenery. great little ghost town mine in the middle of all the beauty. so many different views you cant see it all in just one pass.

Drove to the South peak with little effort, steep in sections and snow still on the road on the back side. We turned around at the FAA towers. The trip down was mostly a slow crawl in 1st & 4low to save the brakes. Also saw some wild horses on the flats.

Very nice drive. Several great hikes off of the loop. Nice to see something preserved so well among the urban sprawl of this area.

I come here with my folks when we visit Death Valley and always have a great time. We do this road in jeeps. We have a blast and the views are amazing. Each time we have traveled this road there wasn't anyone else we saw. So I would assume it's more light to moderate traffic. It is a very bumpy ride so I personally wouldn't recommend a passenger car as this road is scenic but is pretty rough.

Hardly even need 4x, assuming you stay on trail. Great route with spectacular views! Traveled in stock Gladiator Rubicon. Make sure to take off the freedom top if you have them!

A very beautiful scenic drive! Some of the best scenic views you will see anywhere! A great contrast from the glitter of Las Vegas! For those visiting Vegas, I highly recommend that you visit this beautiful park!

Drive is striking. Go slow, there are views in all directions. PS. watch out for all the Insta-idiots trying to capture the perfect “candid” shot for their feed.

This was a wonderful drive. The first 7-9 miles is a little boring as the desert scenery doesn't change much. Once you enter the first canyon, the views are spectacular and the beautiful views don't end until leaving the slot canyon at the end.

Nice little drive, good time to recharge for next hike.

First trail ever! Some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Beautiful out there with next to no traffic when I went, just a few dirt bikes. Some challenges if u want and u can avoid them as well. Def a perfect first trail. Total time to complete and get back home to north vegas was around 6 hrs so be prepared. We also stopped a lot. I could see it being done in 3 with no stops

This trail is lovely. I would honestly say it is more moderate because of the incline and light rock scrambling near the top. there are two ways to access this trail. one near Cathedral rock but to the right, the other at the Echo Canyon entrance. the Cathedral Rock entrance is much easier and what I would suggest. Lovely hike.

Nice weather in October. My best friend and I walked the scenic drive with just comfortable shoes. It was safe and beautiful views all the way. Took 5 1/2 hrs hours from visitors center back to visitors center. Total 15.2 miles. I’ll recommend this walk/hike in a good weather cool days. Bathrooms are available at all scenic stops. We used 2 liters of waters and some dry fruit snacks. Took lots of pictures. It was a great birthday to spend time with my best friend.

Short trail, with a small waterfall at the end. It was 86 in Vegas, but there was still some ice at the end of the trail.

So pretty, the fall colors are gorgeous right now. The water at the falls is going pretty good and my two year old had no problem hiking the whole thing with little more than a hand to hold at the rockier parts.
