Awesome view from the top! The hike back down is not as exciting as far as views, but overall I loved it!

love love love!! By far one of my favorites. $10 to get in park.

Awesome hike! First time. First half descending sandy wash. Easy to follow. Second half tons of rock scramble - mostly easy w a few ropes thrown in for fun! Down in an hour. Hot springs were great - weekend so was crowded. Coloradao was a brisk swim off the right side.

Great trail for snow shoeing.

Behind a locked gate but definitely not trespassing! Views of the strip! The locals call it sunrise mountain and it’s a good substitute for the manitou incline in my hometown . Amen I come to Vegas I’ll always make time for this sweet vertical climb

Very sweet alternative to my hometown manitou incline , sunrise mountain is also great

I parked at Lone Mountain Regional Park off of Lone Mountain Rd. I made my way up to where the gravel loop began. The gravel is about 1/4" minus, quite fine. The loop is fairly flat and the scenery given that it's in the middle of dessert, is interesting. My Fitbit Ionic tells me that the loop is just yards short of 2.2 miles. I ran it twice because I was expecting it to be a mile longer and didn't recognize the place I started as i zipped by at a snail's pace. Twice around and exiting exactly where I entered came out at 4.37 miles on the Ionic. There was a lot of activity on the trail and a lot of dog walkers. I don't think there was a single dog without a leash today which was good because I'm not comfortable with dogs coming towards me unhindered. There was some dog and horse poop on the trail but not that much and I don't think it would be a problem unless someone was using the path when it was dark out. I saw a lot of dog poop that was off the path so owners must yank their dogs off the path when they show signs that they're about to drop a load. This was a great place to run if you're not going a long distance. Two or three laps won't get boring, unless maybe you're doing it every day I give it five stars for runners.

Great hike, would definitely get some snow shoes for end of trail. Good to have phone as trail can be confusing.

The normal Petroglyph trail is closed for repair. The temporary trail is just behind the ranger’s trailer. But I wasn’t aware and ranger did not inform us of the temporary trail even tho we checked in. We walked on some random trail for a couple miles never finding the Petroglyph trail. It was a beautiful day, but still disappointing. Always take ur AllTrails map!

No signs at the parking lot and there are too many trails and there are not clearly marked. We got lost in the middle and had to do a large loop. It’s a good experience though.

Easy quick hike ! Try it

Fun little trail close to town. Went just as the sun was coming up so the ground was frozen and no worries with mud. There were already a few other groups in the area when I was returning to the car. Very convenient!

amazing, highly recommended 3hrs, no people, solo day hike Pink Canyon is wonderous!

The path along the base of the mountain made for a nice walk. The paths up the mountain were a little rough and steep, not really an "easy" trail. Views were great!
