I hiked this trail back in spring of 2016. Hands down the most visually stunning place I have ever seen. A great trail too.

CAR SWAP! Looking to make my fifth trek on this amazing trail this summer in late July-Early August. Shoot me an email if you're interested in doing a car swap during that time! jess.l.lawrence@outlook.com

Stunning views. Plan to spend at least an hour enjoying the glacier.

Hiking this trail, at December’s end, I would recommend crampons for sure; The healthy hill at the beginning was very icy. We started early and didn't encounter anyone until we were almost back at the trailhead.

Gorgeous hike and views! Hiked this in late December, lake was frozen and snow covered. The initial incline was pretty icy, micro spikes were helpful.

The trail is still very accessible as of dec 29, and is one beautiful hike. The drive up to the first lake is awesome going through the valley. Defiantly an easy hike that is well worth it!

Trail is pretty narrow and you are in prime bear country so keep your eyes and ears open so you don’t surprise one. Not difficult. I suggest taking the side trail to look at Fishercap Lake. You’re also in moose area and saw one feeding off the lake once we got to Redrock lake. (Sept 2019)

This was definitely a challenging hike. The views are amazing, making a great payoff for the hard work getting up the trail. Block out some time to linger at the top and explore the rock formations. It was crowded when we were there, so plan to get there early!

A lot of snow, not too icy, lake is beautiful, definitely worth it.

Today it was very icy. Spikes are a must. Lake is iced over- not walkable. A few trees down over the trail. If above freezing temperatures continue to occur trail will get pretty muddy.

we were able to drive right to the lake. the gate wasn't closed. Still able to walk around the lake. Ice on bottom snow pack on top.

Made it almost the whole way without snow on the trail. A little snow packed down at the end, but nothing you’d need snowshoes for. Started the hike at 12:30 and made it out with plenty of sunlight. Saw mountain goats too!

My favorite hike I've done so far. it gets a little tough as you're getting closer to the glacier. Did this hike solo but there was plenty of traffic on the trail so I felt relatively safe. There was a black bear that made its way onto the trail at one point about 50 feet away from where I was at. Backed up into the forest and the bear went on its way. Absolutely beautiful though. Totally worthwhile.

Beautiful trail! Started early in the morning (6:30) in August and parking was already packed. A lot of splendid views and scenes, and saw a moose, goats, and other animals.

Newbie so moderate trail was nice. Burnout from 2 years ago but beautiful regardless. Some muddy spots, some snow, some ice on 11/9/19 but all worth it at the end with the beautiful falls. Some tree fall to go around in a few spots.
