One of the nicest trails I've ever done in any National Park. Spectacular mountain views and plenty of wildflowers, if you go at the right time of year. I went at the end of August, and saw plenty. It's defiantly worth making this part of a backpacking itinerary.

Did this trail on a backpacking trip from Bowman Lake to Boulder Pass, to Lake Francis and back out to Bowman Lake. Lake Francis' backcountry campground is really nice, but there are only two spots available. One of the lesser known areas of the park, but it is certainly worth a consideration for a backpacking trip.

This is a lovely trail that allows for many beautiful vantage points of the Bear Paw Mountains including Baldy. There are a few benches along the trail to stop at and enjoy the view. It takes you alongside Beaver Creek below the spillway. It is nicely maintained and has several switch backs that make climbing down into and back up rotary canyon very manageable.

CAR SWAP! Looking to make my fifth trek on this amazing trail this summer in late July-Early August. Shoot me an email if you're interested in doing a car swap during that time! jess.l.lawrence@outlook.com

Breath taking views. If you start from Logan pass it’s a climb down and you can finish off by resting by the glacier water run off.

The trail is still very accessible as of dec 29, and is one beautiful hike. The drive up to the first lake is awesome going through the valley. Defiantly an easy hike that is well worth it!

Most beautiful trail ever in the summer. It is a lung buster at the top headed towards the Spanish peaks.

Nice walk through a winter wonderland. A little slippery but worth it for the views of the Ponderosa Pines and the beautiful river. Great place to hug a tree and kiss your sweetie.

12/18 Decided to try Blackmore Peak for the first time today. The trail is pretty packed down the whole way with skiers being the main users. I had to use snowshoes the last couple miles but wasn't too bad. Made it all the way to the peak but the last 1/4 mile is very steep on the trail that is broke in. The trail I found goes to the right of Blackmore instead of the usual left unless I somehow missed where it splits. Would only recommend for experienced adventurers on that section as the trail made by skiers is pretty steep. Definitely will have to go again in the summer.

Small amount of snow and ice on the trail but it was definitely walkable without snowshoes. Awesome views from the overlook!

Beautiful 23 miles of views. The first 8 miles are through a woody area but ends at the actual start of the trail near a pretty lake. It took us 11h45 minutes. Didn’t see any bears or mountain lions. Never felt unsafe and I’m terrified of heights. Only one super steel hill (like a double black diamond steep if you ski) to get down. HIGHLY suggest to start at Dailey Pass, it’s more rewarding and you don’t have to hike up the steep hill.

Pretty rough go of things today in the snow. The Road was quite slushy and the trail is prohibitive of all but the most capable of vehicles. We snowshoed and were in boots for 2.4 miles up or so...made it about 1/4 mile past the 2nd bridge. Will try to get back Monday and post some photos...but the trail is all but done until April...

An amazing trail with a amazing views and wild life. We did an extension to this loop that came out over 70 miles with about 14,000 feet of climbing in 5 days but is absolutely manageable especially if you start hiking fairly early in the day. Cannot recommend enough just be wary a moose my try to snuggle with you and a couple of the campsites
