Great trail. Just a little bit of mud from the recent snow. Will do this one again.

Great Urban trail. Concrete paved trail that runs along the creek through generally forested area. Very well maintained, pretty flat overall. Easy bike ride. From Riverside south it's kind of a joke though. Finding your way through Riverside to the last segment is difficult if you aren't familiar and that section runs through an open area along what should be the creek except they removed the trees and lined the banks with limestone rip rap. There is no real reason to go south of Riverside unless you have a specific destination or need to connect to something else. Ends at the river pretty much after your cross into the Fairfax District. Access to the Riverfront Trail which is nothing but a packed gravel trail on the levee. The section from Barry Road south to Vivion is the meat of it. Connects to the 152 trail on the north end for access to/from other areas. Really a great opportunity for a trail in the city.

paved trail. can get crowded at times. they are making it longer though. I ran the part from Orlando's to where it ended (at the recycling plant).

not a bad trail. some muddy parts. some hills. but it is paved.

flat, mostly shaded. paved but forks off into unpaved if you want. quiet. nice views of the river.

Minus 1 star for washout. About 1/6 of the trail along the Missouri River side is actually washed out, the rest of the trail is fine. The washout section is readily bypassed by open country walking. This time of year it is no problem at all as the ground is dry and plenty firm. After a rain you would need to worry about mud, and starting in Spring, overgrowth would make off-trail unattractive. But for right now it's really no problem. I did two laps...

Nice urban trail. Paved, plus a variety of city/community events held there throughout the year.

Some of this trail is paved, some of it is off trail, which we didn't hike because it was muddy. Would like to try the entire trail when it's warmer.

so happy this has been re-opened

Dog friendly, easy walk. Recommend to families with young kids, joggers, or if you just want a nice, easy stroll!

A herd of deer, gaggles of geese, 3 eagles, 2 hornet nests, & 1 train.

Paved path with spectacular views of waterfalls through entire trail. There is one unpaved hiking trail that runs up the canyon side and meets back with main trail (can be loose gravel on hill so do be careful) and the slot canyon trail is a quick non-paved but easy short trek back into a slot canyon. Admission is a bit pricy but offers a lot of amenities. Great for a family day out. Trail gets quieter and less traveled the farther back you go. My family had annual passes as this was our running trail when we had a house close by.

Great day for this hike! The trail was a little muddy but manageable. My dog absolutely loved it!

I wouldn't consider this moderate, but it's a nice series of trails with options of staying on the paved path, or going on the dirt trails... I chose the dirt.. in good condition with only couple of small patches of mud.

love LOVE! long, paved route great for distance running or biking. hugs the lake, so beautiful sights and sounds the whole way.

Flat, paved lightly trafficked trail about 2.4 miles end to end. Neither terribly scenic nor unsightly, it makes a nice walk for exercise. It's all open with no shade anywhere.

Winter dead trees but warm day (60s) led to a busy trail for bikers whizzing past us. It was a clear, paved path with woods and streams on one side of the path, and homes or businesses on the other.

good place for beginners or someone with kids. Very busy place

First time on the trail and pretty sure I didn't follow it correctly. Pretty muddy at this time of year and a bit confusing with the tail markings. Not bad for an urban park and pretty decent for a training mud run.

I love this trail. So much to see, trains, tugs, barges, herds of deer, groundhogs and today a beautiful Bald Eagle. Blue Herons and so many SeaGulls. Clean restrooms at the JB and cleaner ones at River City Casino. I always pop into the Casino for a free soda or coffee. What’s not to like?

Well maintained paved path. We saw an eagle on our first trip out.

This trail should be labeled easy. It's almost entirely paved
