Beautiful day, trails really broken out and smooth!

Nice wooded trail system at the backend of the cemetery. It was a nice surprise as I have been visiting the cemetery for years and had no idea the trails were here. Great for snowshoeing, lots of cross country skiers and dogs off leash.

Once we got off the trails with the snowmobiles (and gasoline stench) it was BEAUTIFUL! We had 4 kids with us ages 7-10 and they provided the typical level of complaint but the boundary loop was nothing that they couldn’t handle!

Fun short trail for a Saturday morning. Temperature was ready 5 Degrees. A little cold at first but had to take layers off as i trek ahead. Would recommend it. I find it more fun in the snow.

Well marked and maintained trails. Maps and interesting historic information found throughout. Perfect snow shoeing conditions! It wasnt an issue on the day I went, but there is no parking lot and only enough space for 2-3 vehicles road side. Great hike!

Easy, fun trail! Snow showed today and trails were well marked

Super fun trail definitely need 4x4 in the winter! Went out today had over 5 inches on snow on the trail and we were the first ones on it and it was super exciting sliding around on 35’s. Just make sure you drive slow!!! There were a lot of friendly hikers, dog walkers, and snowmobilers. Also stay on marked trails we veered off onto a snowmobile trail and it was tough getting a 97 4runner through it.

Hiked this this morning with a few other joining trails to take in the sun rise over the ocean at the top, and it was fantastic as usual. The snow squalls the last few days was enough to leave a nice coating of soft snow over all the usual iced spots. Hiked the whole trail in my boots without crampons and got some great peace and quiet along the route. Awesome local trail for winter excursions close to home.

Pretty as a winter walk. Shoulder of road is the plowed, so year-round parking. Be aware the bridge to the second half of the figure-eight is removed in winter so you can only do the small loop.

Nice short hike with a few options to extend. Good for dogs and a nice option if skiing the snow bowl

Nice trail at edge of a neighborhood. Walked very close to back of homes through a couple extended portions of the hike, but much of the loop is well wooded.

Trail well marked. We took porcupine to 2nd hill then incline, notch, and ledge to 3rd hill. The views are best now without the leaves. The trail wasn't very icy but we had to break our way through a couple of inches of snow. Overall great hike in the snowy woods.

It was a well marked trail and easy except for the ice on the rocks. Even in late December there were a lot of families and dogs. The views were stunning. I missed the feldspar mine but the cattle pound was easy to find. Bring binoculars there are lots of birds to watch at the top.

Beautiful walk along stream during Christmas week. Lots of ice with a gentle roar of water. Dramatic cliffs. Stayed on the trail til it joined Fly Rod Crosby trail... which is also very nice and apparently leads to Saddleback. A number of trees across the trail. Tricky for older people and dogs.
