Great trail and the end view of the two lakes makes it well worth it. Well marked, wide trail.

wonderful for hiking

Worst marked trail ive ever been on

A lovely yet unremarkable trail to an absolutely astounding overlook of cliffs and water (that you can also climb down to). A must-see! Pay attention about 0.8 miles in — the turnoff on the left is not well-marked (the sign is set back from the Y).

Don’t come here during the winter, you’ll have to ford streams, risking hypothermia and frostbite!

This is not a review but a suggestion for an alternate route from Trigg Tower Rd. to Jackson Falls. Farther up from the parking area probably less than one mile is the Jackson Hollow Ecological Area on the right. There is a sign there marking it. You can park there off the road. Walk down into the hollow to a creek, at the creek turn left and follow it to the first underpass beneath the railroad tracks. After passing through the underpass keep walking the same direction up the hill to the foot of the bluff. Go to your right and follow that bluff to Jackson Falls. There is a horse trail that you can pick up at the foot of that bluff that takes you all the way. My pedometer for the total distance there and back was showing a bit over five miles.

extremely awesome Trail highly recommended rock formations are gorgeous definitely helps to have leaves off of the trees so you are able to see the cliffs much better. The little village just blow is a campground with horses looks like it might be an amazing place to spend a weekend and do some horseback riding it looks like there are guides and places to stay.

Main trail stroller approved

Equestrian Trail: About a mile hike total with cut path. Good for a quick hike.

Short trail. Very easy , couple water crossing ( small creeks puddles ) . A great extra trail to hit once you have completed a longer trail and still want to go a bit.

I loved this trail. Good path with lots to look at. Huge rocks to walk around and look at. Prob 4-5 spots to just sit back and enjoy. You can sit under the bluffs or let the water drip on ya. One of my favorites and doesnt take long

Love hiking this trail after getting enough rain to get the creek branches flowing. Several small & beautiful waterfalls and cascading waterfalls affording great photo opportunities.

Good hike today. Trail is dry, especially where there are leaves. Beavers are wrecking havoc on a few trees. Hiking polls are helpful but not necessary. Military memorial is cool.

Easy, flat, dog-friendly

A favorite hike to date. We spent an afternoon wandering by creeks, bluffs, waterfalls and train tracks with some amazing views. Definitely a good thing my best friend and I are adventurous because you need to be for this trail. It was perfect for our outing!
