Paved trail, but takes you right through Rome! There are places with historical information posted. It walks right through the Riverside Memorial Arboretum! There's a park with a playground, restaurants, and a library along the way. If there has been heavy rain, parts of the trail mail be flooded, as it is right next to the river. Good for anyone!

Its really good trail for running here! Love the trail, tree and wilfwide.

Nice paved trail with two different parks on a loop.

As some have pointed out this is not a "hiking" trail, but it is one of the top trails for walking along the Chattahoochee. There is not a better trail with better long range views of the hooch, overlooks of wetlands, etc. probably one of the best locations along the hooch for bird watching and wildflower viewing. do yourself a favor and plan to stop in to the Chattahoochee Nature Center if you are looking for some "hiking" or add in Vickery Creek which has 5+ miles of "hiking" also recommend going all the way to the end of the trail for some fantastic views along the boardwalk. Future plans will connect this to Lower Roswell to allow users to reach Gold Branch letting you hike Vickery Creek to Gold Branch and probably put a good 10 to 15 miles of hiking between the two without ever getting in a car. A bonus for families is multiple playgrounds along the route, as well as bathrooms. Can easily extend this into an all day excursion with multiple hikes, playground stops, nature center trip, followed with a short drive (or walk along a trail) to Historic Roswell dining near the square or Canton Street.

Nice trail around beautiful lake. Kids had fun feeding geese and floating things down a man made stream in the park.

Great urban trail. The artwork , trail plantings , breweries along the way made for great diverse experience . Well marked for the most part although we found ourselves unexpectedly off trail by Rose Circle Park and took a lengthy detour along Donnelly. Better signage there may have helped. A great asset to the West End.

Great partly paved trail. Wonderful dog park. Stroller friendly - even on the parts not paved. We will be back!

Nice winter hike. The Keown Falls trail used to access the Johns Mountain trail is steep in some places, but the Johns Mountain trail follows the ridge line for a long time, so it is a really pleasant walk.

nice flat paved trail. saw plenty of deer and many other walkers and bikes

App missed recording first .8 so total distance was 4 miles from Willeo Creek Park to Azalea Park and back. Beautiful river views entire way. Boardwalk and paved entire way. Flat. Picnic tables and benches in various places. Wide so also good for biking and joggers. Great for multi-generation walking. Con: adjacent to busy road most of the trail so you don’t get the “escape to nature” feeling. Note: much larger parking lot at Azalea Park, so if it’s a really nice day, park there and walk the trail in the opposite direction. There are also bathrooms at Azalea.

Nice afternoon walk with the hubby and pup.

It’s more of a road than trail. You share it with cars, bikers and pedestrians. There are other trails that seem to be geared towards biking. We walked the dogs here and it was still nice but not quite the “hike” we were looking for.

Fantastic day for the hike after two days of intense rain. Had the trail all to ourselves.

Very pleased with this trail. Good for a beginner like me. Will be back.

Rode bikes to brushy mountain tunnel

It is tough using Apple Maps to get to parking as people said. Go in the daylight. Pretty hard to find trails without first knowing. I’m sure it’s a good trail in the day time. Hi
