I went with my dog and although it was very muddy, we still loved it and had a great time. I would definitely wear waterproof hiking boots though. We saw a lot of people wearing tennis shoes that looked like they had been absolutely ruined.

Overall it’s a great trail. Has a few places to camp if you so choose. Easily done in a day though. Chilly during the winter due to the heavy shade more than anything else. Only 4 stars because it’s easy to get off track because the trail isn’t marked well at all.

Slightly difficult to find to the trailhead by road. Parking is minimal and in a vacation/residential area. Hike is short and easy with lovely moving water alongside. Falls are very pretty in all seasons.

Great trail for running/walking safely by yourself (or with others) as it is surrounded by school campuses and neighborhoods. Not intensely scenic, but gets the outdoors into your daily life if you live in the area.

The views are spectacular! There are several flights of stairs that lead down to the bridge and out of the gorge. Would definitely do it again!

Great hike! Not a lot of people for a Sunday afternoon. Some parts can be really rocky and steep but a great adventure!

Great hike and beautiful views and scenery. We always take our dog with us and prefer to have her off leash and if you’re into that kinda thing there’s portions that work well and some that don’t. I would say easily over half the trail is on paved paths and or wooden pathway. If you take the path on the app once you climb up the mountain at the end it’s kinda hard to find the path on the other side. Overall had a great time!

Aside from the steep elevation gain in the first mile of the hike, this trail isn’t overly challenging or technical. It’s definitely a well maintained trail and easy to navigate.

Went on a rainy January day midweek and saw 4 other people. Great quick hike that’s pretty easy, but the small ascent to preachers rock can be a bit rocky, muddy and slippery in the rain. Well worth the view once you reach preachers rock. A magical place.

Heads up - not dog friendly. Wished I would’ve known this as this is the second trail I tried with my dog today that ended in a fail. What a bust of a day. Update: I found a “dog exercise area” which is essentially a small, un-fenced field next to a busy road, so there’s that.

Three little trails. One is ok for mountain bikes. Dogs are welcome and I didn’t see anything stating they had to be on a leash, which is a nice change. I walked the red trail (the shortest 1.4 miles), nothing spectacular but the trail is well marked and clear terrain. Lots of history signs dotted around. It was a battle field but posted no metal detecting.

Went solo today, nice well kept trail. Going back soon.

A somewhat challenging trail with beautiful views from the top.

Great trail - pet friendly, small challenge, very rocky, big incline, wonderful views, well maintained.

i really love reading the low reviews, one guy gave the the trail a 1 star because trees were down after hurricane Irma. LOL. i tried to do the trail in sept 2017 after the hurricane but it was closed. maybe i should give the trail a low rating for being closed after the hurricane like another person did. LOL LOL. well i just got doing the trail this morning on a cold, high winds sunny day and i enjoyed ever step. both falls were running good and got some nice pictures. if your looking for an very easy family friendly trail thats easy to follow with some nice rewards. i strong recommend this trail. but maybe i should give the trail a 1 star rating for high winds. lol. sry i can't help myself. oh yeah its near the road so you might hear some traffic. another reason why somebody gave the trail a low rating. lol. oooppps i did it again. lol

This is our go-to for walking our dog. He's a Chiweenee and can handle it, so it is pretty easy. But you can still build up a sweat if you move quickly. Goff mix of shade and open fields.

Up the trail and back down the gravel road made for a nice 4 mile loop ifntoubstart from the cemetary.
