I don’t think the trail map is correct. I found a trail on the backside of the park but it’s about a mile long loop. The one showing here on this map crosses the road and goes along the river which has tons of Posted No Trespassing signs everywhere. It’s a pretty little trail but not the one described here.

Great trail! It was mostly a gravel/tarmac path around the water, I was only in the woods for a little bit. It’s great for a nice leisurely walk. My 8 year old dog did more than fine on it.

Nice brooks & water view. Well maintained trails!

Nice hike. Had to cut short due to time. Will return to compete.

Could barely find trail off of the train tracks. Saw a yellow marker on tree but the trail was too over grown to really walk it All trails should take this trail down off the app!

Fun, generally flat easy trail. This was my first time out on this one, I ignored the AllTrails suggested trail and followed the blue trail out of the parking lot, followed by circling back on the yellow and then red trail. Definitely would have explored more if it weren’t for sunset, looking forward to coming back soon and checking out some of the other trails I passed today. Lots of wildlife, my dog was enthralled by our many deer and squirrel sightings. Would recommend!

Despite warnings of trail closure, we through caution to the wind and hiked this trail It is a moderate, dog and family friendly trail that is a joy to hike. There are trail closure signs up that we ignored and continued on. I am glad that we did because we saw no one on this hike. There was no machinery or people working on thinning the trees as indicated by the sign. The trail itself was a mix of pond views, mossy glacial boulders, and pleasant hiking trail through the woods. There was just enough uphill and down to give a mild cardio workout. This was the perfect cold weather hike. I have hiked several trails in Bigelow Hollow State Park and have been please every time. It is just a great place to go.

Nice moderate hike. We stayed on the blue trail. We were going somewhat slowly as there were lots of leaves on the trail. It took almost 3 hours to do the whole loop. There were not any spectacular views, but it was a nice wooded trail. When the leaves are changing, it must be gorgeous. Part of the trail is near the lake and there was a small waterfall. We only encountered a couple of people along the way. We’d hike it again. It felt like a pretty good workout with enough flat spots to give a bit of a rest between climbs.
