Nice drive.

Great trails. Plenty of falls.

A better route from central Arkansas was I:40 to Hwy 7 North. At Pelsor take Hwy 16 past Pedestal rocks and continue to Falling Waters road. This saved over 45 minutes. Try to time your trip after a significant rain.

Stop at first big waterfall then turn around and leave.

Right off the gravel road. Really enjoyed the falls. Assuming it would be a nice place to swim in the summer.

Tried to do this route again after hoping some of the photo folks had dispersed. Never happened.

Fun scenic drive up the mountain BUT tourists made it impossible. They were sitting in the middle of the road taking photos and selfies. There were people doing shots in wedding attire, school uniforms, and matching family outfits around every curve. One even had props they had to remove from the roadway so we could keep driving. Yes, the fall colors are pretty but they were in the middle of the road!! Craziness.

For such a short drive at the (formally) smallest national park, it is quite beautiful and enjoyable. There are various pullouts to get a panoramic, some better than others, and the town is even better. Saw lots of deer, a raccoon, and plenty other small wildlife.

Great place to hike several trails to choose from. The overlooks are awesome .

Easy to get to and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Arkansas.

LOTS of great stops along this road. The water is often a beautiful emerald blue. Check out all the hidden spots and enjoy your day!

Beautiful drive! Carry binoculars for elk sighting! Saw around 30 this week at dusk. Magnificent creatures!

just a pull off water was low but it was beautiful

what an outstanding drive and if you like chasing waterfalls right on this road i would guess with in a miles are 2 fantastic waterfalls. falling waters waterfall & six finger falls. you don't even have to get out of your car to see them. but you will want too. to get there you'll have to drive about 4 to 6 miles on a dirt road but they are more than worth it. i stop on a beautiful january morning and i couldn't believe how pretty they are. even the trees and rock formation in and around the creek are something to see. bring a good camera with you. you won't want to pass up theses 2 gems. i must of spent at least an hour at each falling. i will be posting 3 picture of a roadside view of the creek thats in between both falling. Even on my way home from the campgrounds I had to stop for another half hour to enjoy these two gorgeous waterfalls one last time.

You don’t have to get out of your vehicle to see the fall but I recommend getting down to lower creek level for pics. View from road doesn’t do it justice.

If hiking at Pedestal Rocks/Kings Bluff in warm weather this is the way to go to cool down. There are several great swimming holes up Falling Water and Richland Creek valleys. We go up Richland past the 'Nars and out Woolum. This way is not a drive for an AWD at the end. Need a 4wd that can ford 2-3 ft of water if coming out Woolum (use your head, don't cross if water up and fast). Can take a Prius down falling water road to the Richland Creek campground though.

This is a killer swimming hole!! Beautiful spot, we hiked in from the road not on the trail. This is a must see spot. Falling Waters Road is just gorgeous all the way down to Richland Creek Wilderness area.

I squealed like a little kid! We saw an elk long after sunrise. We had planned to be out there early to catch them but instead slept in I was just sure we missed our opportunity. But there she was!!! It was wonderful

beautiful scenery

very curvy and steep roads to get there. the camp sites are extremely close to your neighbor and there isn't any gravel down so it is muddy. the trails and map are difficult to navigate.

No Elk out this morning. Fields smell great, fresh cut smell.

Wonderful destination. If you are into photography...this hike is a must..the views and the crag are amazing shots. The rocks teetering on the edge of the bluffs are mind boggling. The hike itself is the easiest one in the area. The drive to get to it is a different story. lol If you are in the area this hike is a no brainer.

This is a beautiful drive with Falls all along the way to the larger one. Beautiful water. Beautiful place.

Drove today 5/7. Did not see any waterfalls. The drive was beautiful, and no trouble on the road other than no wifi when you drive the road. Used the map and route on the All Trails app.

I liked see the elk

Such a beautiful waterfall!! Excited to go swimming here in the summer! Would highly recommend! No hiking necessary, you just drive right up to it

The drive up is a long dirt road, be prepared for a rather bumpy ride as well. The beginning of the trail is mostly decending but there is a little waterfall you come across if you follow the spring. If you can, stay along the edge, there are some really beautiful outlooks. ✌
