Super easy hike with kids. Flat easy terrain with river and lots of tree coverage. We haven’t made it the whole way. Just go about 2 miles in, play in the river, and hike back out.

super easy, great with small kids or elderly or anyone who need even footed and mostly paved trails. I enjoy the interpretive signage along the route with photos for birdwatching and info on the riparian landscape. It is a busy place, sunita also good for anyone who is nervous about hiking solo or who gets nervous in open spaces.

Great hike. Go early. Lots of people makes it crowded and you have to pull off to the side. beautiful view.

Incredible. One of our top 5 ever. Some parts are challenging but fun to work out as you go. We’re both relatively fit and found it medium challenging.

Great hike, go early as this seems to be a popular trail on the weekend.

Amazing views!!!

We hiked up to the first oven, the wash was a miserable walk because of the sand/pea rock.

shade is hit and miss till the top. this is a challenging but great hike. wear good shoes and a hat and walk slow. so much desert beauty. loved seeing all the different shapes of cacti.

Pretty crowded on a narrow trail at some points. It thinned out as you went further up. The views are beautiful, trail well maintained making it a perfect day on this trail!

Def a hard trail!! But so worth it. Be prepared for plenty-of climbing and rough terrain but totally doable and worth it.

Challenging but doable hike especially for the views at the top. Hard to see trail markings in some spots but there are enough people on the trail to keep you on course

Beautiful views! I would say it’s more easy than moderate.

Great trail - had to only go to the hot springs and turn around from the southern trail (can’t think of its name) because of the ladder at the 3 springs - my dog weighs 75 pounds and is a bit too much for me to carry. But the hike is wonderful. Not completely flat which adds to the experience. And the incredible hot springs - were wonderful for soaking my feet.

Great hike with a great payoff. Bring some drinks and flip flops to enjoy the hot springs.

This is a beautiful trail and is exactly as described- a nature walk through various plant zones. Challenging to find if you don’t know where to look. The restroom to the far left is a general direction to go in as you descend behind it - there are signs once you find the trail and it’s well traveled- easy walking on level ground.

We took the trail the wrong way and had to fight the uphill sand on our way back to the car - it was horrible (we are also inexperienced hikers) but if you were to go the right way it wouldn’t be so bad! It is gorgeous and completely worth the hike. Be careful and don’t put your head under water! There’s brain eating water amoeba. Gorgeous scenery on both ends of the loop

Just did this trail for the 1st time, great views, and it was all shade going up. I started at 7am on a weekday and only saw 2 other people who were on the way back down. It took longer then a hour going up but that is only to stop and take pictures . It was 40 degrees so no bees at the cave at the time. Will go again, and might look into the year long pass to the park/parks which I believe is $89.00 vs $7.00 per visit.
