Beautiful drive. We took several side trails (fire brakes really) that were MUCH more challenging than the main trail, especially as wet as it was today. Abrupt ends made for difficult turnarounds. Lovely day.

This was a very easy (drove it in a ‘19 Rubicon) trail with some nice views. Super quiet. Great trail to just enjoy a nice drive with my canine buddy.

Great trail for beginners it was little bumpy there were some rocks. Was my first time off-road it was great nice scenery as well. For your first time doing off road I highly recommended this for beginners

600-1 was easy, some spots were a challange, two stock subarus made it thru, 600-2 was too technical about 2.5 miles in with some major ruts. Had to turn both vehicles around and retreat until we have skid plates installed.

It sucked

LR most Saturdays. County Road 277 is private property, let Chester and his daughter know you're just jogging through. Blacktop for about .6 miles on 257 and covered bridge road back to 252. All else public dirt. Not advised during hunting season. Beware of horsefly horde at base of Salem Lookout Tower (County Rd 258).

Couldn’t even come close to finding a trail, I wouldn’t recommend even trying. All I did was get my dogs and my car muddy. If this is going to be broadcasted as a trail on here there needs to be a sign or something indicating where there is a trail or else people like me will be stuck wandering around for over an hour. Nothing is marked, the whole area is service roads.

Honestly an awesome experience. Definitely a very very easy trail. Marked signs help a lot. More of a scenic drive rather than “off-road driving” in my opinion.

They were having a controlled burn when we decided to take our trip, it was an interesting surprise. It was a great trail with interesting stops along the way like a log hewed church from the 1800’s.

The trail is pretty much completely over grown, so don't try to find it. Follow the creek up stream from the trail head and you'll find the falls. I recommend downloading the topographical map on your phone. The falls itself is nice once you get there. Also LW we found your cache and made and a entry in your log.

Goggins Falls wasn't easy to find. Rate this hike as DIFFICULT for many reasons. We began at the road intersecting with Jesse Creek. We used a Garmin GPS receiver and several phones for access to satellite images and AllTrails recordings. We ended up using the satellite images the most to get us up and across the old area that was FORMERLY excavated, quarried, driven on by work trucks and then reforested.... Then we descended a manageable hill (leaving pink surveyor's tape) to Jesse creek. Heading upstream about .2 of a mile we finally found Goggins Falls. Definitely worth the effort though!

The waterfalls are beautiful but difficult to get to. I would rate this hike as difficult, not necessarily for the terrain, but for the navigation. This is not a casual day hike with marked trails. GPS is necessary and cell service is very spotty.

There isn't an actual trail for this hike. I never actually found the falls, due to me and my brother exploring the area until dark. Really cool area to hike around. You can follow the service road near where the trail is supposed to start, I'm sure it connects to the falls in some way. Cool exploring area!
