Nice and easy trail for the family. Nicely graveled about 1/2 way through. Rest of way is old road . You will get to a barbed wire fence that you can go through to make it to the underside of the bridge. Overall perfect kid hike and cool views of the bridge.

Very easy flat hike with a well groomed gravel trail for the majority. Several well placed benches allow places to sit.

If you’re looking for something short and to the point this is a good trail. No elevation at all so it can be easily done by kids.

Beautiful short walk. First quarter of a mile is a very wide path, goes all the way to the old homestead, from there u can loop around or u can go towards the bridge where you’’ll follow an old road, trail is very wide all the way to the bridge. One side you have a nice cliff, on the other one you have a small hill with half of it cover on talus field, and the other one with grass. Nice scenery on November, also would be nice to come here on spring to see the Basalt Daisy. No shade so in summer would be hot, you can go trou the first gate, but don’t go pass the bridge, on the other side it’s the Yakima training center, we even got lucky and saw two sets of 6 helicopters fly by.

Nice mid-November hike. Trail is easy to follow. Lots of birds. Hiked to bridge and back. Would be fun when there's a bit of snow, too.

Easy trails with open views all the way around. Tons of birds but didn't see any wild flowers. There are some cool finds if you look closely.

Very easy hike. The basalt columns and rock wall were cool. Lots of birds. I saw mostly magpies and crows, but I could hear quail everywhere as well as some other birds I couldn't identify. I'd do it again.
