This trail is scenic for a city trail. A majority is paved and well marked. There is a portion that runs through a neighborhood. I had to get out my All Trails map to connect it together but Out and Back left me with 11 miles for the day. Lots of river views with some deer and egret spotted along the way.

The trail is majority paved but there are stretches of gravel. It’s a very scenic trail, with a nice river view for the majority as well. Interesting stretch through Georgetown going down the street/sidewalks for awhile, kinda weird, but it doesn’t last too long. I managed to jog the entire trail start to finish and back, basically a gorgeous scenic half-marathon. Highly recommended for biking and jogging.

great long stretch. however, a good chunk runs through a neighborhood and 90% of this is paved. i personally prefer unpaved, but after a rain this could be a nice option...just dont wear hiking shoes...

I ran part of this trail for the Poppy Seed Fest 5K. Nice and easy paved trail to run when you want a break from the rough, rocky trails. Kid and pet friendly, but watch for dog poop on the trail.

This is a good trail to run for trail runners, when you want a break from sharp rocks, long switchbacks, tree limbs to the face, steep hills, etc. Run next to the concrete parts of the trail (on the grass) when possible to still get the "trail" under your feet. The two times I've run this trail I've seen relatively few people, mostly hikers and moms with strollers, and I don't think I've seen any dogs. The scenery is nice, mostly trees and bushes and some rocks, scrub and oak-forest looking- but when you get past the section along the road (to the west) the scenery is especially pleasant for about a mile. And from Booty's Road Park, you can easily get to Lake Georgetown.

A lovely hike/walk. The kids and dog enjoyed it. Lots for the children to do and the walking so pleasant.

Convenient trail that connects to countless miles of other trails. Mostly paved with a small section of dirt. Nice rest stop areas. Well shaded for most of it.

Nice and easy trail. (Except for the path down and up the dam if you park near Cedar Breaks park). Well worth the trip. And it can be done on a hybrid bike as well.

Very nice trail. Most of it is paved except for a small section which is crushed granite. Majority of the Trail is shaded also. Longest unshaded sections are near the dam and when you have to go through the neighborhood hood. Plenty of spots to refill water your water bottle along the way also.

Great trail for hiking, biking, and walking the family dog. It's appropriate for all ages and skill levels. You might even happen upon a Turkey Vulture, RedHeaded Woodpecker, or a harmless king snake.

Decent trail. Not so great on hot sunny days. Take water for your dog if you bring one.

went with my dog and loved it ! great trails and no one around which made it peaceful

Went bike riding great for it. I would go there again. There was an area of dirt I didn't think I would be able to resist. I have a hybrid bike so only good for road pavement.

Trail was great! We started at the bridge. You can either go as far as 10 + miles or 5. Park Ranger was very cool and helpful on direction of trails.

We took the kids and the dog and everyone had a great time! it was a great place to go after all the rain since it I was paved and the river was real high. can tell that it is a popular high school kid hangout when the river isn't so high.

Good trail. Bring water and some good boots.

Interesting hike with some cool rock/water features. Not at all crowded. Some parts of the walk are pretty but others are less interesting than nearby hiking trails. Best part is that it isn't at all crowded.

Nice hike but more excited to take my bike out on this one next time. The river crossings were cool especially since the water level was higher than average.

Was manicured trail with a lot great visuals. The new housing on the trail was interesting and it's privately owned land now. There are no trespassing signs.
