Too many spiders!!! They’re everywhere. Make sure you r not the first one hiking there in the morning, otherwise you will get spider net all over your body.

Didn’t make it very far — trail super wet and muddy. Also heard a wild boar as soon as I stepped on the trail.

Good clear trails, perfect for young hikers and beginner mountain bikers. The Blackjack trail offers some slightly technical ascents going in and some comfortably flowy sections throughout. The Osage Orange trail (and the Red Oak loop branching off of it) provide a few more shallow climbs and descents, not quite rollers but good for learning to pump. After scouting it out, I cant wait to take my bike back next time.

This was our first time at this trail, and I must say that we were impressed. It was a bit confusing at first maneuvering through each of the trails, but overall it’s just a really big circle which is nice. The walkways were wide enough to where we could walk side by side with our dogs. Not overcrowded at all, hardly saw anyone, the staff was friendly as well. There was a bit of trash, but nothing too drastic. The trails were a bit wet as well which was unfortunate, but then again we did go after we just received a lot of rain. Overall, we give it a 9 out of 10 and will most definitely go again!

Nice smooth easy Trail for a late spring hike. We only did the end by the lake. You need to start early if you are hiking this Trail in the late spring or summer.

Overall, good hike but this park was a bit confusing for a first timer. In the park, there are very few directional signs to guide you. When I eventually found the trails, they were well marked and well maintained. Loved the lake views from the East Side trail!

If you like spiders and cobwebs this is the place to go! Good walk for my grandmother, if she were up for tolerating the spiders.
