A short loop around a small pond. It's pretty nice and a great place to take the kids to watch birds or to have a picnic. They have just recently put in restrooms on site, and the park itself usually gets busy in the evening.

This is a great walking path at a city park. Good for kids to join in on. The whole path is paved, with a playground at one end and bathrooms at each end.

Easy paved trail, but circles a small lake that is kept up well. Nice park just outside shopping centers so nice change of pace. Was getting my oil changed and noticed this trail was across the street. Awesome way to kill time while oil is being changed:)

A nice, relaxed, 1.2 mile walk, perfect for kids and pets. Would be a great place to run laps, or for relaxing evening or morning walk.

This is not at all for hiking. It’s just for a walk , on pavement around a body of water. I just took my son and my dog and it will probably be my new jogging spot. I repeat, there is no point in going if you’re looking for a nature trail adventure. It’s still nice and has mile markers for walkers and joggers.

Great park. It is a loop trail so it's fun to ride around in big circles. Only downside is that there is no shade, so when I stopped by in late May and it was 99 degrees, it became exhausting quickly. So don't come here midday during a Texas summer, rather come in the morning or evening...

This is a very nice city park located in Watauga, TX. It has restrooms at both end of the park. The cement path is great for walking and it’s 1.3 miles around. You can measure your walk by how many times you go around. It’s clean, well manicured, and has great parking. This is a city walking path.

The area was nice and clean, but I would consider this a heavily trafficked loop. There were only a few people when I arrived just before the sunrise, but by the end of my 40 minute walk there were tons of people. There were a lot of families camping out on the green spaces too, just off the concrete sidewalk. Overall the area was pretty nice, and well maintained. I may go back at some point, but for now I will keep checking out other areas where I can walk my dogs

Clean, smooth, wide concrete lit up path around pond with wildlife. Cool cause it’s away from cars & emissions! 2 restrooms, plenty of benches along the path & even a doggie fountain!

My dog and I have gone on many walks around the park. I don’t consider this a hiking trail, since it is concrete and only a mile, but it’s great for running and walking. Lots of friendly people and in a good neighborhood so I even feel safe enough to go at night.

Great park to run and take your dogs to! All sidewalk trail! They have water fountains for the dogs and people. If your dogs can swim there's plenty of water for that! Only con is not much shade so if you can stand the heat go for it! I'd recommend it for a later fall run! I appreciated the memorial for all of the armed forces for the people who served from Watauga too!

Wonderful. Peaceful. Took my kids and they really enjoyed seeing all the cute ducks and the beautiful water. The whole trail has lighting and I'm sure a walk after dark would be just as beautiful. They also have a few mini play areas so if you want to stop and let the kids play it's very easy.
