Hard to follow, you have to cross the creek if you start at the trailhead by 377. Once you get to the road turn left. First mile is bad and .5 along the road. Grass was shin to knee high in parts with sporadic horse crap. Pretty much flat terrain. I’d love to start at the other end and see how it goes...but Trail isn’t marked all that great.

This is not a hiking trail, it’s a road and equestrian trail hence the horse manure. There’s no tranquility or trail guidance. Not intended for hiking or running.

Easy to moderate in some areas, overgrown with tall grass in some areas, very few trail sign...lots of horse manure. Part of the trail follows the paved road. Good distance out and back.

This trail is rated "easy" but it has enough terrain difference to provide a challenge to all. Since it is also an equestrian trail, it can be covered in horse droppings. When wet, it gets muddy. This is listed as a 7 mile loop, but the southern part of the trail in not well marked. side trails are not marked either.

This is an underrated trail in my opinion. The first mile isn’t great but after that it gets really nice. We saw deer, quail, and armadillo. It is an easy hike but very scenic trail. My only complaint is it is a little dusty.

There is free parking next to the guard shack. The trail borders along some homes, was sadly a little trashy but it did have some beautiful views of the lake. Be aware it is also a horse trail, so you need to watch for droppings. We took a small detour to go eat lunch near the lake and we were notified that it costs $2.00 per person to use the road, sidewalks or picnic tables at the park and unfortunately they are watching.

This Trail was ok... do not get off the trail and on to the lake roads. The guard will let you know you are trespassing and could be fined 100.00 per person for not coming through the front gate. Great for beginners. No hills or climbing. We went right after it rained. It is a horse trail so lots of droppings.

Not bad, beginners hike. My kids liked it. But was very closed to people's backyards for a lot of the trail

Great for taking the family on a first family hike. However, the trail fizzled out. Great for a quick hike in the morning due to its proximity. (Only 4 miles from the house)
