This hike is slippery once you get closer to the falls so it is not recommended for dogs unless they are well trained and adept at hiking. It is also not recommended for small children.

I went with a friend of mine who has been on this trail many times. It’s hard to find (in my opinion) because it’s not really marked. The trail is rated as moderate, but it’s pretty steep and slippery. You have to climb down and over rocks. I wouldn’t go if it’s been raining or snowing. It’s an awesome little hike with amazing waterfalls! We saw four total.

Warning! There is a Yellowjacket nest directly on the trail about halfway down the large waterfall. You can avoid it by climbing up/down the rocks along the fall.

This hike was nothing short of awesome!! It's not for the weak of mind. It is very steep. There are some big steps, and 4-5 foot climbs to be made. No offense... Its not a hike for dogs, or children. All is good till you get to the top of the main falls... it's just straight down from there. In my recording, I tried to take photos of the trail so you have an idea what to expect. I wouldn't say its a hard hike. Very short and steep. Water is down right now. You can walk through the creek almost anywhere. If you got an hour to kill, go for it. I spent 2.5 hours just taking pictures. Its a beautiful place. It is to be respected. Its steep and the rocks are slick. GPS was spot on for the trail. It'd be really cool if Alltrails could put a tab in for Photography. This is an awesome creek to photograph... once you get to the bottom...

We thought This trail was quite a bit more difficult than how it was described here. We ended up turning back after we were about half way down the side of the waterfall never we weren’t sure how much steeper it was going to get and it was getting difficult for us and the kids. We also ended up off trail and ran into a very large black snake by the river.

Follow the creek to reach the falls. No trail marks. Big dogs can handle the rocky terrain.

This hike is very pretty with some impressive waterfalls. When you reach the bottom of the largest falls there is a massive hornet's nest to beware of. It is right near the "DANGER" sign.

Great for a quick hike when you get started late. Bring swim clothes when it’s warm! There are a couple more hidden waterfalls to find and explore. Don’t bring small children and only well behaved dogs. I’ve almost fallen off, and I’m super careful! It gets more slippery the closer you get to the fall. It has a couple steep parts on the way to the fall and gets steep again going down to the pool.

Short hike but steep by the waterfall. the bottom area is really cool to walk around and explore all the areas. Plus a couple of nice falls along the trail above the main one.

real pretty falls. it is a lot bigger then they say. Has a cauldren type going on down from the falls and when you reach the very bottom go to your left and about crawl threw the rhodedenrons and there is another fall with no name and it also has a cauldron type on down from it. the main trail is more climbing then walking with all the rocks. i dont suggest a dog on this hike my two and my daughter in laws didnt like it the rock and falls close to them is hard on dogs and small children. it is worth seeing though have been there 3 times the last time was april 2018

Amazing!, I have 2 kids 12 and 14 and a boxer. The entire family loved it, it was difficult hiking the closer you got to the fall; that said it was well worth the hike down. If you have small children just beware some of the rocks can be very slick and if you fall it’s a ways down.

This hike was amazing! I went with one other women, both of us in our 20s, and neither of us felt that it was that difficult. It was definitely a climb rather than a stroll. The waterfalls were so beautiful. Definitely worth the hike for us!

Good hike, not a long distance but somewhat hard since I have short legs

Short hike, but some tricky spots climbing down and then back up. We only got about .6 on the gps. Awesome waterfall!

Risk is very much worth the reward with this trail, but requires very careful footing. Took me a while to really figure out how to get to the falls as I didn't see any markings. My GPS took me right to the trailhead, just watch for large red dot on tree next to road in parking area. There's no cell service so I would urge you to bring a partner just in case one were to fall. All in all this is a great trail for anyone looking for a quick challenge. I'll definitely be returning

This is a really cool trail, but packs a punch. Climbing down to the falls can be very sketchy in wet conditions. I would not take kids on this trail as a fall could result in death in some spots. We did see a black bear on this trail. Parking area is hard to find and no sign.

Definitely more of a climb than hike but well worth the effort if you love waterfalls and be sure and go all the way to the bottom

More of a climb than a hike. Could be very dangerous in wet conditions.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS! I know other reviews and even the description says this, but seriously, don't take your dogs, unless they are well trained and don't need a leash, and even then, it may be a challenge. There will be times on this trail that you will be on your butt going down or on all fours coming up. I chose not to read and/or listen to this advice and my wife had to turn around and the take the dogs out as they couldn't make it and were pulling us down the slope. All in all it's a great, short hike. Probably a half a mile in to get to the Falls. Even in dry conditions the ground can be slippery so be careful. Great main waterfall and some beautiful smaller ones around as well to see on the way.
