Heading west on 64 from Turtletown, TN or Ocoee Whitewater Center, make the first right after passing through the Ocoee Gorge. Then make first left. Park, then follow signs for waterfall.

We tried to do a loop using the Clemmer Spur but the creeks are now raging rivers due to the recent rains. It is a beautiful area but we were unable to make the river crossings. Did an out/back on Clemmer.

Loved the river crossing, the real surprise is the 2nd set of falls at the top. Packed a lunch and enjoyed the beautiful falls. Also great to cool off in the ice cold water!

So beautiful. Not a lot of traffic we saw only 1 other person on our way out! Be prepared to cross a river!!

Advice from a Local: Go on a day where there are many vehicles in the lot, don't leave valuables in your car (in sight or hidden) and park very close to the entrance if possible. On Thanksgiving Day while my man and I were on a hike for about 45 minutes, the passenger window of his truck was smashed with a nearby rock from an unknown party as they looted his vehicle. Also, Wear Sport Sandals - you will need to cross 2-3 medium size streams, that range from 4 inches to 2 feet in depth, to get to the falls and while at the falls there is a large pool at the first base of the falls that you can go swimming in, so wear/bring your swimming suit.

I'd done the waterfalls trail before (which is beautiful) but wanted a longer wander in the woods on a misty day. Never saw another soul on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It's a little more than 4 miles one way to Benton Falls - I ended up clocking a little over 9 miles making a trip to the falls and taking the Rim Rock Spur loop on the way back. Love the changing scenery, wish there were better overlooks though. You get a few peeks on the way up. Several small creeks and springs so good water sources if needed. No trouble with trail markings, fairly straight forward to stay on the main trail. Great workout and peaceful outing, I'm sure it won't be my last visit.

Got turned around several times. Some parts are very well marked. Others not so much. Ended at the begining of Clear Creek and walked along the road to where I parked. Didnt pass a single soul along the way which is a plus in my book. Will do again.

had time for about half, fairly easy up hill, ran water off the trail pretty well considering the rain at the time. convenient to do along with other activities.

Very good trail to spend an hour or two in nature with the family or all day covering the loops.

Relatively easy hike to Benton Falls and back. The rocks on the trail were challenging and hurt after a full five hour hike. Shared the trail with mountain bikers.

We loved it!!

Trail was cleared with gradual slope. Basically it is a forest access road. Biggest problem with the trail are the 3 to 5 inch rocks on the lower end. The rocks are loose and make downhill difficult especially after a long day of hiking.

8.5.17 We started on Scenic Spur trail, and then somehow ended up on Clemmer Trail, so we never made it to the first small waterfall. Saw a few signs along the way, but don't know how we got off the original trail. The first two miles is uphill, so take it slow. The trail path itself is nice and wide, and we could walk side by side for the majority of it. It was a really great trail the whole way to the top, which put us at Benton Falls, and that waterfall was simply amazing! It's an absolutely beautiful sight to see. We sat on a big rock and had a picnic there. There were a good amount of people at the waterfall, as it was a Saturday, but the trail itself was lightly trafficked. We passed a few mountain bikers on the way up and down. Make sure to listen for them, as they come around the corners extremely fast. We moved completely off the trail to let them go by. They come down there so fast that there's no way that they would be about to stop or avoid a hiker. Round trip, we clocked 10.2 miles, and it took us 5 hours from start to finish. We took our time, stopped many times to take pictures, had lunch, etc. Couldn't of asked for a prettier day, and thoroughly enjoyed this hike!

This is a nice trail. I made it to the first waterfall, Rainbow Falls. they are beautiful falls. I waded the creek, on the first crossing. I managed to cross on the rocks, on the second, crossing.

Great trail for kids with expansion available for a full day of hiking. The falls are lovely, especially after a day of rain. Note that there are two creeks to pass to reach the falls. Enjoy!

Definitely worth your time to do this trail if in the area.

Extremely beautiful. A great place to escape and just be with nature. Not very rigorous but it was a nice little hike.

Clemmer Trail is family friendly to the falls and back. Additional loops and trail extensions can add to the day for more adventurous hikers.

Took the whole family oldest was 42 and youngest that could walk was 2 1/2. We enjoyed playing in the creek and waterfalls at end of trail. Even put the hammocks up. Great hike, will definitely go again.

First set of falls are great.. but if you do the hard climb up to the 2nd set.. it's for sure worth it. Wear great supporting hiking boots.. the rocks are very slippery. over all a great hike. loved it!

well worth the hike to play at the waterfalls

It was an easy trail and a lot of fun. However finding the waterfall was not as easy as the trail because the signs were unclear about having to cross the river (which you have to cross twice to continue on the trail, once at the bottom and again in the middle).Overall it's a great hike.
