Short but hilly, the scenery is great. The Duck River is your left the whole way. Nice waterfall at the end. Winter will give you a better view of the river.

Falls are really nice. Shorter version of this trail starts at the falls trail head.

Nice trail. Narrow. Great views. It has been dry in TN lately so not much water coming down the falls. Still a nice little walk!

Parts of this trail is strenuous and if wet slippery. Most people take the paved part from the parking lot. Baker bluff starts at a turn out before you get to the parking lot.

Not a bad hike, some nice views & lots of birds. Jackson Falls is great spot for lunch if you remembered to pack one. I live close by so this is one of my go to places for some peace and quiet. Weekends can be crowded especially after we’ve had rain and the falls are really going.

The scenic view from Baker Bluff was really beautiful. This is a paved trail until you get to the falls and then you can climb around and down the creek a bit. Not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon.

Great little hike! We loved it for the entire family! The kids were able to make a little slide from the top falls and then we were able to climb up onto the lower falls! Don’t expect to spend too long there but there is space to sit in the river and cool off if desired! Watch for poison ivy.. it is everywhere!!!!!

Nice trail, fairly easy and short. Beautiful water fall while visiting during the winter season. Trail offers very nice views of the Valley and local farms.

Nice views, adds to the waterfall vs. just taking the walk to the falls.

We parked at Baker Bluff, checked out the overlook and got on the trail to Jackson Falls. It was a good little hike (15 - 20 minutes maybe), but the waterfall was more of a trickle than a beautiful cascade. It’s probably really awesome in the Spring and anytime when there’s been a day or two of rain. It wasn’t too crowded when we were there. There were some families with young kids and dogs and they all seemed to be having a great time splashing around.

A bit crowded at the falls , but still enjoyable ! If you are up for a walk and adventure walk the creek bed till you hit the river . Kids collected shells and saw some animal tracks making it fully enjoyable .

Good walk with kids, beautiful falls and easy in and out to the water

We’ve only gone toward the falls and not the entire trail, but the kids love sliding on the falls. There are a couple of levels in the amphitheater style area so kids can slide up on the top shelf, others can play in the runoff on the next level down, even more can play in the stream way down at the bottom. Watch younger kids going down to the falls as there are some long drops with no rails. Picnic area with restrooms at the top.

I have visited 3-4 spots so far. While some trails were pretty, others lacked much scenery and the paved trails and railings really led to a disconnect from the nature around me. I also likely confused a trail with a road and took a good detour for a few miles. There were also more folks visiting each spot than the other locations I prefer to hike at. It's definitely worth going at least once, especially if you're looking for an easier surface to walk, bike, what have you. I'll likely return to visit the other stops at some point.

Stopped at a couple of the trails. They were enjoyable and a pretty good workout. Unless I'm missing something, you need to get in your car and drive down the Natchez trace to visit the other trails. I wish there was one, long, connected trail but at least the trails I've been to have been enjoyable.

Beautiful waterfall. The main fall is fed by a beautiful trickling cascade hiding above the rocks to the back right All parts of this waterfall is easily accessible. I would recommend this to everyone. The walkway down to the fall is easy and beautiful!

Have been to Jackson Falls a few times and to Fall Hollow Falls. Both were very pretty.

Sun Jul 26 2015

We went to Jackson Falls which is located at mile marker 404.7. Easy trail although steep. 900 feet from car to falls. The water was low so not much falls activity, so we hiked in the creek bed to the river. Jackson falls is about 35 miles south from highway 96 exit in Franklin TN.

Went to Jackson Falls and Fall Hollow on the Parkway. There wasn't much water in Jx Falls, but it was still a pretty fall. Not a bad hike; descends on the way to the fall. Might want to allow more time to ascend the hike back, but still not too difficult. The "trail" is paved.
