Woodland hike through rocky terrain with several primitive creek crossings.

really well maintained and well marked. the trail has a nice variety of terrain and scenery so it never got boring. we even saw three deer and a snake while out hiking. would definitely explore more of the trails nearby. it gets muddy so wear waterproof shoes.

Really pretty hike for about 3 out of the 6 miles. Lots of creeks. The other miles are really muddy and wet. Not crowded which was nice. Pulled off 3 ticks on the way home despite using bug spray. Would definitely go back now that we know where the really pretty areas are and avoid the mud.

Nice trail, muddy at some parts. I pulled off a lot of ticks afterwards.

Nice trail. There is a 1 mile section which is all mud bogs due to all the rain we’ve had. After that section it’s perfect, nice small creeks throughout.

Fun quiet little preserve. There are places you can hear traffic, but for the most part it's isolated. Dogs are allowed if they're on a leash and it seems like a good family place - there's different trails to suit different abilities. I did the red loop which wanders close to two waterfalls and had some good elevation gain. It would be pretty in the summer, but bring bug spray - I a found a tick on my leg today and it's just starting to warm up.
