Parking at the northern end of this section is at Oak Knoll Park off of Walnut Rd. (N40 47.347 W81 31.532) There is a trail through the park then it's across the bridge to meet up with the trail on the other side as it runs south along the Massilon Levee. To continue north, you have to ride up 4th, 5th and 6th Streets where you can connect with the Sippo Valley Trail or cross the bridge and find the O and E Canal again. John Glenn Grove has parking and a portajohn just of Warmington Rd. about midway between Massilon and Navarre. (N40 45.101 W81 31.646) Waterworks Park is at the southern end of this section right off of Wooster St. in Navarre (N40 43.522 W81 31.744) There is a portajohn and a short watered section of the canal. Trail trail continues across the street and continues south.

A mid-October ride before the leaves were down on a sunny late afternoon bike ride was a rare weekday treat. We did a short 10 mile southerly out and back from Lake Ave NW to the Sippo Valley Trail out to Skyland Ave and back. The trail is in good condition and the peddle/pedestrian traffic was fairly sparse. There are a few areas where roots have buckled the asphalt (e.g. west of the creek at Oak Ledges) as well as some uneven transition areas.

cannot even park where the directions suggested for this trail we actually parked about mile half north at ernies bike shop and continued our 2mile hike from there, which was a great walk next to the canal side.

Very easy trail for bikes. Part of the Ohio and Erie Towpath system that extends from Zoar to Cleveland. Ar the Lake Street trail head, there is a great stop with a deli and a bike shop.
