There are a few blown down trees on the trail that you will have to go around or over. The hardest part of the trail is at the west end. With a nice incline. I love this trail for training on my mileage time. Best time 23.43. pack weight 20lbs

This is a great short trail. Its shaded throughout so it can be enjoyed even on warmer days. There are alot of ups and downs, some steep and some gradual. There are several bridges to cross small creeks and at higher elevations you get nice views of inlets for the lake. The halfway point is marked with a map. This trail can be a bit challenging if you haven't hiked in awhile but is definitely doable. It may also be difficult for younger children (under 7) because of some of the grades. This is a pet friendly trail!!!! Also light traffic makes for a peaceful trek. Only thing negative I can say about it is occasionally you run into some rubbish from those who don't respect the outdoors (very little though) and the trail is short. Other than that it's a great hike on a nice day.

This trail has a lot of going up and down hills, but definitely worth it. Took us less than 30 minutes to hike, so we did it twice. Dog friendly!!

Walked this trail on an overcast Sunday afternoon. It's a completely wooded trail. Careful, the footbridges are slick when wet. The trail itself was not muddy despite the recent wet weather. Perfect length for acwet day.

Lot of hills but it was pretty good

Very easy trail. We took all 3 kids and they loved it. Nice scenery, some wild life, and plenty of birds. It's just too bad there aren't more trails in the rocky fork region to take. I'll be going again.

I am a huge fan of Ft. Hill. Unfortunately the deer loop has been closed both times I've gone this passed year but the trail (I've forgotten the name) was a great hike regardless with awesome rock features that lead to really awesome outlooks, a lot of cool terrain and much more! This loop as a whole is pretty easy but so worth it if you get a chance to get out there.
