Trail was in good shape and easy to follow. Some muddy sections as you'd expect.

The trail is pretty easy but it has a fair amount of areas where it’s a challenge to cross deep mud, sections where it’s easy to lose the trail and it’s short on interesting natural features to look at along the way because it’s pretty overgrown so be ready for bugs. Do yourself a favor and go just a little further beyond the AllTrails map to really see Wanika Falls otherwise you’ll just see the Chubb Falls and it’s not as pretty. The falls aren’t marked very well, but you want to look for the Wanika sign after you cross the rock feature/river and go just another couple hundred yards. It’s worth going a little further. Check the images I posted, they should help. Have fun.

Although the trail (path) itself is fairly easy to follow, the trail markers are slim to none in many places leaving a few questions along the way. In addition there are numerous “downfalls” across the trail. In fact there are 53 downfalls alone between miles 4 and 6. So if you plan on a trip - ensure that you bring your “hurdling legs”. Enjoy.

Trail was well marked and very easy to follow. It was super muddy in spots, but it rained yesterday so we expected mud. Falls were beautiful. Great hike.
