Great little hike with the pups with a nice swim hole at the end. It cannot be accessed through the White Birches campground any longer. We were told at the main office that hikers had mistreated the campground in the past...whatever that means. So, I posted a few pics of where you can pick up the trail as there are no signs. It’s a little west of the campground entrance on Rt 2.

We managed to get this quick little hike in before the high temp for the day became 90! It’s a great little trail if you’re already camping at White Birches Campground. Trail is easy to find and packed down enough that it’s impossible to get lost! Stream runs alongside the trail with many access points. The best part comes at the end though when you reach the basin, absolutely beautiful!

Great trail! GPS takes you to a private trail head. The public trail head is a few hundred feet away by a bridge. There is a small dirt pull off. Fun easy hike!

My kids really liked this short hike. Once we heard the water falls we spent most of our time playing in the water. The entrance was within a camp ground. We parked just west of the campground at a pull off and hiked in from there (just east of pea brook ln).

A nice easy 20 minute walk in the woods to the Basin. Heading east along Rte 2, you can park immediately before Pea Brook in the small pull off area ( big enough for 2-3 cars) and walk 100' east along the road to the trail head that brings you straight there.

We tried to find this trial to a "waterfall" today, but had difficulty locating it, due to it being on private property. When we did finally locate the trail head, it was through and behind a private camping area called "White Birch Campground" on route 2 about 4 miles east of Gorham, NH. I went in to the office to ask for the trail, the woman at the desk was not familiar with a trail by this name or a waterfall, but was familiar with a "swimming hole" at the bottom of a boulder stream called Shelburne Basin. It matches the location of the trail on this ap. After discussing with the women that we had to sign in and initial wavers we opted out. Maybe this would be worth a hike to a swimming hole in the summer. But we tossed the idea as we were looking for a moderate hike to a waterfall while we were in the area. Did enjoy the company and giving rides to the AT that us Gorham as a down day resupply local.

It was a moderate hike, and loved the waterfall along the trail.
