Hidden Waterfall The hike starts at the stairs. Climb the stairs and head right on the unmarked trail. The slight grade makes for easy walking. After a few hundred yards, the trail forks to the left. If you continue straight, the trail deadends in a few yards. This section of the trail is steeper. Continue about 300 yards where the trail forks. Follow the right fork less than 100 yards into the narrow canyon to Little Falls.

This trail is lovely. I would honestly say it is more moderate because of the incline and light rock scrambling near the top. there are two ways to access this trail. one near Cathedral rock but to the right, the other at the Echo Canyon entrance. the Cathedral Rock entrance is much easier and what I would suggest. Lovely hike.

Short trail, with a small waterfall at the end. It was 86 in Vegas, but there was still some ice at the end of the trail.

So pretty, the fall colors are gorgeous right now. The water at the falls is going pretty good and my two year old had no problem hiking the whole thing with little more than a hand to hold at the rockier parts.

Fun trail, we started at Upper Trailhead parking by cathedral rock parking lot. We took the trail by the bathrooms next to the no parking sign. When you get to to the fork continue right. You’ll see signs as you keep going.

Worth the wait! Parking is a bitch if you come late. Also trail is hard to find. Park at the upper level and once you see the bathroom turn right. Follow the path and you’ll shall see the falls.

We did this rail as a homeschool field trip with kids ranging in age from 6-16. On Group started near Cathedral Rock and the other in Echo Canyon. The trail is not very well marked at the beginning and was hard to find from Echo. The waterfall feature was beautiful. Two points of caution. There are stinging nettles on the trail. I always suggest wearing pants when hiking in the desert, but watch for these. They hurt and one of our teens found out first hand. Also, I would not rate this trail as easy. There is rock scrambling through water and the incline is rough for inexperienced hikers. It is still good for kids and pets because there are no cliffs to speak of. Great hike

The end mini waterfall is really awesome and well worth it and significantly better than the mary janes waterfall. The trail was hard to find and navigate though. We started out wrongly at echo, but found that the correct place to park was blocked off by construction. We went up and down echo trying to find our way and finally found the correct trail. Once you find the trail its pretty smooth sailing and makes for a great view.

Great for kids! Has some incline to it, may require short breaks for younger kids but the final payoff is totally worth it. Lots of traffic on this trail because it’s so easy, tbh I have found better luck at catching some solitude at the peak later in the afternoon/evening hours rather than early. The water is a frigid temp which drops the overall temperature in the gorge by tons so don’t get caught up there when night falls.

Great trail. Once we found the trailhead.... You can start at the trailhead for Echo Falls ect and follow the signs into Little Falls or you can find the trails that start across from Knotty Pine Road. No markings but there are trails thru the hill and also behind the new bulding labeled private property. alot of people were starting behind there. As of two days ago there was akot of water at the top- just keep going. was beautiful and so refreshing. We hiked with a 4 year old and a 7 year old and both were able to do it all on their own. Be aware tho it is a incline all the way up. Final push was steep but well worth it.

Great little hike for the family. Has a small incline, so if you are older you may need a walking stick.

A little hard to find the start of the trail. It led us straight to a gate, but ended up parking near echo way (first trail parking lot before Mary Jane) and walked up the hill until i found a junction. Went straight (don't go right where the big incline is. We made the mistake) once we got on the right trail we followed it and finally found the sign to the falls. You have to walk a steady incline and and walk through the stream. The falls was really flowing this time of year.

Great hike with small kids! My 3 year old struggled with Fletcher but dominated Little Falls! We even went all the way to Echo! Connection to Echo has a stream running through it but kids love water! It’s a great, gorgeous hike. It won’t stay like this all summer so get in before the creeks are dried up!

Awesome trail! Trail starts 5 minutes away from cathedral rock trail parking lot. Just ask around! I went around 4pm and the weather was perfect. I did use my light jacket occasionally. Its a short, easy to moderate hike depending on your fitness level. Starts of flat then a bit steep with a beautiful fall at the end of the trail!. Cell phone reception was great until we got close to the fall. Great for families, kids and pets. Remember to always bring plenty of water and be safe. Happy hiking!!

This wasn't an easy hike for us (family of 4, with a 4yr old and 9yr old). Maybe we are just out of shape but I would call it moderate, not easy. It started out easy enough but then goes straight up and is more like mountain climbing. We had to stop several times and there were younger (more in-shape) hikers that were stopped as well. The trail is also very hard to find if you don't know the area. The map will take you to a closed off gate and Little Falls isn't even listed on the newer maps. You don't know if you are on the right trail until you are halfway there. We just followed the directions written by someone else on here and finally found it after about 10 minutes of driving back and forth and searching for "stairs".

Great hike for kids with a little water fall at the top. My kids and two wiener dogs were able to do this hike with no problems. Beautiful views!

Nice hike for a beginner. shaded, lots of plants and lovely butterflies around the water areas. There is a trickling waterfall and pool of water at the end.
