Awesome scenery. Very peaceful. If you own dogs, the west side of the park has a no dog policy due to bison and other wildlife. East part is fine.

This amazing trail goes through the southern end of Pioneers Park in Lincoln, NE. It runs through a Prairie. Biking is possible but is recommended for dogs and hikers. You can take other trails around it. You can go on Bison Trail to extend it into a truly marvelous adventure!

Awesome walk if you venture off the main routes. There are buffalo and various birds you can see along the trails as well as a kid center

A very easy hike, perfect for kids. There is a lot to see and do so you can make multiple trips without seeing the same things. The nature centers are worth checking out as well.

The pioneer park trails are among the best in Lincoln...especially if you have younger children.

The Chett Ager nature center trails are simple, but charming. Flat and wooded, with ponds and a small bridge. My two small children do very well on them, they are perfect for young families. The nature center us always fun to look around and the log park on the east part of the trails is a highlight for the little ones.
