Beautiful wooded hike, a bit rocky and really steep towards the top. Once at the top, found a ton of blueberry bushes at different levels of ripeness, some past their prime but was able to pick enough for a batch of blueberry pancakes. This trail should be easy for an avid hiker, but was challenging for me since I suffered a knee disability in 2009, which severely slowed my ability. We hiked this trail on the way up and felt it was marked better than the Blueberry Ridge Trail we took on the way down.

Fairly easy hike through a lush forest. It's a little rocky at spots, but not bad. The views from the top are spectacular, however the loop around the summit area is not all that well marked. Look for the little cairns and you should be okay.

Nice hike, very pretty pool. With all the rain last night there was a lot of mud in spots.

FANTASTIC hike!!! moderate but totally doable for even a beginner. it does get steep towards the top, just take your time. the rattlesnake pool and gorge are worth a stop - so majestic and beautiful! the view from the top is one of the best. warning: the trails are NOT well marked. if it wasn’t for this app and a hiker we passed, we would have been plenty lost. the lookout at the top was almost impossible to find. thinking it may be easier to navigate when all the snow melts. the trails were very slippery - lots of wet leaves - just be careful. our pup loved this hike! happy trails!

The flume and the pool made the hike worth it. - definitely worth checking out. Not much of a summit view. Trail not really well marked in areas. The footing was good. Was not a difficult trail. Dogs loved it.

Wildflowers were abundant! Easy walking. Short trip to rattlesnake gorge and pool highly recommend. Clearest water you've ever seen!!

The Sapphire pool and Rattlesnake Flume are beautiful. It was a super-easy trek to the pool and a fun, quick swim! Brrrrr!!

We came up White Cairn Trail and down Stone House. It was a well maintained trail, and easy to follow but not very exciting or fun. Just walking down/up a steep hill with lots of small rocks and roots to trip on. This side seemed pretty heavily trafficed, we saw no one else on White Cairn but several groups on Stone House. That said, I think that this trail would be doable for most kids. Unless they were experienced I would not bring them up (or down) White Cairn.

Ascended via Stone House Trail. Aside from the Rattlesnake gorge and pool, which is absolutely beautiful this trail has no other merit. It is a monotonous trudge up a rocky mushy stream bed for the most part. Crossed over Blueberry ridge and then down White Cairn. Loved this trail! Beautiful views & stone steps leading down the steepest parts.

Just came back from a beautiful day hiking the White Cairn - Stone House Trail loop on Blueberry Mountain. We started out on White Cairn and the trail was very well maintained with stone 'stairs' to help us up some of the steeper areas. Towards the top though, it's all rock. This part wasn't an 'easy' hike for us, but we're just getting back into it. The views at the top were spectacular! On the way back down we picked up Stone House Trail. Stopped at Rattlesnake Pool and cooled off my feet while we watched some crazy teenagers jump in the frigid water. :) All in all we loved it and it's a trail we would go back to.

Easy hike, good for young family. Rattlesnake Gorge and Pool make this trail noteworthy, otherwise not very scenic. Done as a loop with White Cairn Trail, which doesn't have the river, but which does have spectacular views, exposure, and topography.
