Absolutely beautiful view from the top of Jordan Pond. The hike is fairly short, but lots of up hill and stairs or "stair like rocks". It was very lightly trafficked. We wenr up the trail around 5:45am to catch sunrise and made it to the top in 30mins. We had a few slower people in oor group and were carrying lots of camera gear, so if you are pretty fit, you can easily do it in 20. I was with 3 other people and we only saw 2 other people the entire time. Great view of the fall colors and an awesome place for sunrise even though our sunrise wasn't very great. Highly recommend.

Originally planned to do south bubble trail but went here because parking was easier. We arrived around 945 and traffic was picking up, left at 12:30pm and traffic was very busy. Hike overall was very rewarding and the views were worth the climb. At 4'11, I struggled in a few spots but made it up and down fine with a little self pep talk. :)

Beautiful trail! We took out five year old up and she was thrilled with the view, wouldn’t be ideal for younger kids who aren’t active as it’s a fairly steep incline.

Beautiful view at the top! Steep but short hike. Make sure your shoes have good traction for the way down.

Fun, short, tough at points but never a concern for an adventurous type. And who that downloads this app isn’t?

Great hike to do if riding bikes on carriage road. Jump off and get a quick hike to see bubble rock.

Relatively quick hike. Did north and south bubble trails can be done alone as well. Some rock scrambling. Loved the hike

Fun moderate hike with great views! Rocky and muddy. Saw an eagle flying over Jordan Pond. Absolutely beautiful.

Very foggy the day we went, but a great hike. Had our 3 and 5 year old with us and our dog and they all did great. Tough for them, but doable with some guidance from the adults. Highly recommended.

Excellent short hike. Climbed to the top in roughly 20 minutes. Some stairs and climbing over rocks, but the views are 100% worth the effort. Highly recommended! Views of Jordan lake are amazing! Worth taking a view minutes at the top to enjoy

This was a great little climb to an amazing scenic view of Jordan lake and surrounding ridges. Takes about 30 minutes round trip if you walk it through. But can be 45 to 50 if you take time to enjoy the views at the top. An easy little climb for experienced hikers and an easy way to challenge yourself for beginners. Kid friendly as well.

Nice and easy quick hike! Very fast in and out, and it wasn’t too busy. (Thoigh it was completely dogged in when I went so that may be why)

Super fun and quick trail. About 20 minutes to the top, all uphill with a few rock scrambles. Bring a lunch and have a picnic at the top, great spot for that.

Non-stop views!! It would be an easy hike up and back down, but I would recommend extending the hike into a loop by continuing on the North Bubble trail down the mountain and up Connor's Nubble. This trail is more challenging (though still moderate, a much smaller peak) and offers a diversity of terrains and views. You'll end up along Eagles Lake and finish through a beautiful marsh and lush forested area before arriving back at the bubble parking lot. One of my favorite Acadia hikes! The whole loop will take about 2-3 hours

North bubble is definitely the better of the two. That said, you’re adding a half mile to do both, so it’s worth doing both. The north provides amazing vistas of the Jordan Pond.

Did both Bubbles, chose North Bubble first as it was shorter. Definitely a climb but quick and beautiful views of Jordan Pond and Cadillac Mountain along the way. Our dog enjoyed the hike as well. The summit area is smaller than at South Bubble.

Did this then continued along the Bubbles Trail to Conners Nubble and looped back along Eagle Lake for a really wonderful 2.5 hour loop. Stunning views over Jordan Pond and Eagle Lake.

Short fairly easy trail to some great views.

Loved this trail, not too strenuous. This view is even sweeter than South Bubble! Great hike for kids also.
