This very primitive loop trail follows the discontinued end of Woodman Road (woods road) before turning right into the woods, following the stream, and looping clockwise back onto Woodman Road. Today the trail is marked only by survey flag tape and one sign where the trail leaves Woodman Road. The trail includes old logs across a 100 foot swampy area, creating a risk of slipping and wet feet even for the most agile hikers. Please note: Dog do not have to be on leash but must be under voice control.

Short, easy hike even in a foot of snow. This might be the best marked trail I’ve ever been on. There’s absolutely no way to miss the markers here. Very pretty, very quiet, the falls were unfortunately covered in snow. It also has limited parking.

First time on this trail. Nice meandering trail that starts as an extension of woodman rd, then heads into the woods at 2 different sites on a marked blue trail. Meadow brook is followed the entire rest of the walk until you loop back onto the tote rd to make your circle. Dogs really enjoyed the brook - it was running pretty good today. Had the trail to ourselves. Not sure what happened with my recorded route. went off on a trek of it's own I guess??

Finding the trail and parking was no problem, the road heading to the trail is a dirt road but a very nice one. Didn't see anyone else on the trail till we got back to our car. The blue blazes are great. Add some extra time to your trip and hike the Norumbega Chapel trail in the same starting location, it's on private property but they allow hikers, 1.2 miles.

Dogs loved it! Very nice that this family opened up their land for public use. Thank you

We have completed trail rehabilitation here. The trail is now well-marked with blue blazes, and re-routed and improved to meet the expectations of most able-bodied walkers. The falls are best at high water levels, and all but disappear in dry summer months. Enjoy! More details at www.RRCT.org

Mosquitos are no joke and the water in the river is dirty. More a hassle than something to enjoy.

Beautiful piece of property. Very well marked. Starts off in woods then followed stream for a ways. Several deeper pools as u can see from the pictures. I’d suggest going counter clockwise and turning around at the road. Nothing to see on road, overgrown and buggy. Turn around and be happy!

Wonderful little loop, although it is brand new and therefore not all of the trail has been built. Beautiful little waterfall. Can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s finished!

This is a great trail which includes a cascade waterfall. Microspikes are needed in winter as the rocks are covered in ice. Trail was easy to follow as it is marked with red flagging.
