Hopped on this trail at the tower entrance. Loved the little waterfall down towards to bottom. Not sure how far I got but the trail becomes almost non existent if you head down towards to lake. I had to turn around and almost got completely lost trying to get back.

We went out earlier this week. We started counter-clockwise since we were able to see the trail. Made a short side trip to Chenocetah tower which was nice. We got back on the trail but towards the end, we couldn’t find the trail back to our car. We made our own path and finally got back to the start.

Done this trail today with my kids and it was great. It did have some blowdowns but nothing terrible. The granite maker in the picture is the actual trailhead just below the Chenoceta tower near Cornelia, Ga where we started our hike. Ascending or descending to/from Chenoceta is not shown on this route and it is steep so be ready if planning on going to the tower.

The beginning of the trail was great, but towards the middle of the trail it is poorly kept and the same issue on the last stretch of the hike.
