I recorded the approach to the Little Ridge Creek trail and made notes on my photos to help users better find the trail head. The approach starts at the gated section on Forest Service Road 443. There is good parking near the gate. This area was used as a camping site is the past. Now it is only for day use. In route to the trail head, there is some excellent trout fishing. I caught rainbow and brook trout, all very small. Also I recommend riding a mountain bike to the trail head, as it is along a closed, but in good condition, forest service road. Once at the trail head, things will change. The trail roughly follows a long closed forest road. There are many blowdowns and it is overgrown. The small tributary of boggs creek is beautiful with a series of small waterfalls or cascades. The beginning of the trail is okay, but as you walk up more the path is hard to find is very much overgrown. I wanted to record more, but a large thunderstorm prevented that!
